Description

BREVET D'INVENTION
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

PATENT
It is known to use fire lighters made of paper, waste cork, straw, wood chips or fibers, peat and similar materials, whether or not agglomerated by flammable products such as resin, for example.
. However, these devices have the drawback of allowing only relative combustion, because they burn up quickly, and of not being able, even in a very large volume, to ignite the coal directly, so that it is still necessary to use wood.
The object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks, and it relates to a firelighter comprising lignite, soaked in or coated with any combustible material, such as resin, rosin. , tar, pitch, or the like.
According to the invention, the lignite can be mixed with various flammable waste such as for example shavings, fibers or sawdust, cork, peat, straw, paper, éooroe, etc ..., this mixture then being agglomerated by any material agglomerating fuel.
The product thus obtained can be cut or pressed under
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
form of tablets or cubes of all shapes and sizes, solid or hollow; these fire-lighters can also be in the form of pyramids, truncated cones, etc. and be pierced with one or more holes to facilitate combustion.
The firelighter thus produced is very resistant, quickly ignites the charcoal without any other intermediary, while being used in small quantities, which makes it possible to achieve serious savings on other compounds of this type known. On the other hand, with the help of this fire starter, the housewife can:
1 *) lighting wood by taking a very small quantity of the product according to the invention, and
2) directly light charcoal by slightly increasing the quantity used.
The invention has been described purely as an indication and in no way limiting, and it goes without saying that numerous modifications can be made to its details without departing from its spirit.
