La présente invention a pour objet un allume-feu dont la caractéristique réside dans le fait qu'il comporte prin- aipalement des copeaux de bois, éventuellement des fibres, lamelles, on menu bois torréfiés.
Les allume-feux connus à ce joui: comportent un mélange de copeaux de bois, de sciure de bois on d'autres produits combustibles liège, charbon de bois, goudron, naphtaline, des matières productrices d'oxygène, et des huiles à point de combustion élevé.
Certains des produits employés sont d'un prix assez éle- vé et d'autre part le traitement de ces différentes matières, la manière de les agglomérer et de les débiter demandent souvent un travail tout spécial et la main-d'oeuvre nécessaire à cet effet augmente sérieusement le prix de revient des allume-feux se trouvant actuellement sur le marché.
D'autre part, il ne faut pas perdre de vue que certains allume-feux comportent des matières facilement inflammables et constituent par conséquent un danger continuel d'incendie.
L'allume-feu suivant l'invention comporte principalement des copeaux, des fibres, ou lamelles de bois, traités légèrement
