MEMOIRE DESCRIPTIF DEPOSE A L'APPUI d'UNE DEMANDE DE BREVET D'INVENTION APPAREIL FRIGORIFIQUE ET HYDRATEUR POUR LA CONSERVATION
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
EMI2.1
<tb> Raviers <SEP> Série <SEP> I <SEP> -Série' <SEP> II <SEP> S <SEP> é <SEP> r <SEP> i <SEP> e <SEP> III
<tb>
<tb> Hauteur <SEP> en <SEP> m/m..... <SEP> 95 <SEP> 95 <SEP> 95
<tb>
<tb> Largeur <SEP> en <SEP> m/m..... <SEP> 215 <SEP> 130 <SEP> 100
<tb>
<tb> Longueur <SEP> en <SEP> m/m.... <SEP> 275 <SEP> 215 <SEP> 130
<tb>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY FILED IN SUPPORT OF AN APPLICATION FOR A PATENT OF INVENTION REFRIGERANT AND HYDRATING DEVICE FOR CONSERVATION
FOOD.
The object of the present invention is a system of racks serving for the conservation and hydration of dishes inside a refrigerated cabinet, racks which can affect any size and be made of any material, transparent or no, provided that the coefficient of thermal conductivity is high.
This invention is shown by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, in which figure 1 shows a corner cut away from one of these scoops, while figure 2 shows, in cross section, a circulation chimney. between racks, inside the refrigerator cabinet.
Figure 3 shows the stacking and interlocking of the raviers
FIG. 4 shows the mode of bearing of the valve covers on the edge of the latter with the interposition of the hermetic seal ,. while figure 5 shows the super-

position of the trays of different models, and, in fig. 6, an example of ventilation produced in a dish thanks to the notches made in the dish placed on the latter.
As shown in figol, each of the raviers has its four cut angles, over its entire height, following the hypothenuse h of a right-angled triangle whose other sides are equal and measure, in this example, each 20m / m, this which, of course, has chimneys C (cross section of fig. 2) between the ravines for the circulation of air between them. Taking as side length 28m / m, we have each time a circulation area equal to 28 * 8, or about eight square centimeters *
Assuming that we have placed on a shelf four of these baskets, of marl dimension, we will realize, at their meeting, a chimney, with shaped section in rhombus with equal sides, Boit, in this case, 28m / m of Côtéo On the other hand, according to the invention,
a notch at right angles of about 6m / m having, in the vertical direction, 3m / m, is made in the lower horizontal crest of each riverbank. (See the detail in section of fig. 3). interlocking of the trays in such a way that the bottom of the upper tray forms a cover over the lower tray (detail in section of figà4).
A set of trays to be adopted preferably would comprise three series having respectively the following dimensions:

Two Series II dishes, the length of which is equivalent to the width of the dish I can also cover the latter; the gap between the two dishes allows easy fitting.
Then, two raviers III could be dimensioned so as to cover a pan of the series II.
On the bottom of the four sides of the raviers, we practiced,
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
according to the invention, pyramidal notches (see fig.5) having as their base an equilateral triangle of side 10m / m, while its height is not less than 20m / m; under these conditions, after their interlocking, the lower pan will constitute a perfect hydrator.The upper pan will form a cover; its bottom being cut with notches and will allow a slight aeration which, however, will not harm the internal hydration of the lower pan.
As the thickness for the top wall of all the rafters, 5m / m should be adopted; in order to facilitate the cleaning of the baskets and to prevent any deposit of food residues in their corners, their interior is, according to the invention, with rounded corners at 45 degrees, as can be seen in Figures 1 and 2 , respectively for one and for four of these angles.
In addition, the invention provides for all dishes flat surface lids, with identical side notch in the bottom of a dish of the same size. These lids have their notch, held in a notch with a deodorized rubber tape, constituting the seal j (fig.4) which ensures the airtightness of the dish for the conservation of very delicate foods or very likely to take on odors.
The advantages of the object of the invention can be summarized as follows:
1 *) Elimination of round dishes, plates, saucers, casseroles, which were too bulky utensils for the relatively small capacity of conventional refrigerators.
2) The dimensions of the dishes according to the present invention are determined so as to always allow their superposition, one corresponding perfectly to the other, superposition. Which is also possible between dishes of different dimensions.
3) Each dish forms, on its own, either a hydrator for fruits or vegetables, etc. either an airtight dish that can house foodstuffs whose penetrating odor must be isolated @
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
other sheltered products.
With the present system, we obtain dry cold, by the help of pyramidal notches, or wet cold with the help of the cover, and this; at will.
4) The superimposition of the trays eliminates the need for lids, even if the dish has to function as a hydrator.
5) By adopting transparent walls for the brooks, it is possible to quickly identify their contents.
6) The circulation area of 8cm square, mentioned in the description text above, as being that of the circulation chimneys produced by cutting the corners of the flats, is sufficient to ensure the circulation of air. even if the refrigerator is completely filled with these trays.
7) The trays allow the use, in the cooling element., Of any brand of refrigerator, blocks of ice with a volume of 3/4 of cubic decimeters, or else, by taking the .ravier series II, 1.4 dmocube.
8) The dimensions of the trays have been designed for all shelves of all refrigerators of any brand on the market.
9) As the trays can be presented directly, it is no longer necessary to transfer cold dishes, salads, cold sauces, jams, desserts, etc.; they can be served at the table straight out of the cupboard. refrigerated.
10) Due to their rapid cooling absorbency and low absorption coefficient, these trays are frigory savers.
11) These racks rationally use the available space and, if necessary, allow one or more shelves to be removed.
