<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

Fig. 3 shows front and side views of the sieve part fixing device.
Fig. 4 shows an elevational section through a fastening device for a very fine screen.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic view of the inclined arrangement from different angles of the screen.
Fig. 6 a schematic sectional elevation along CDfjg7.
Fig. 7 represents a schematic elevational view of the end of a vibrating screen at the arrival of the material (case of very fine and wet material).
Fig.8 shows a sectional elevation along EF fig.7.
Fig. 9 is a partial plan view of FIG. 7.
Referring to the figs above,!. represents the support frame or rigid fixed frame suspended at 18 by rods. The sieve box enclosing the sieve or perforated sheet 14 is represented by, 2
This sifting box is itself supported at 4 points by coil springs 4 resting on the support frame using suitable adjustments and by an eccentric shaft .2 itself resting in ball bearings 6, The eccentric bearings 7 are part of the case, sieving isse 2.
A barrel 8 completely surrounds the eccentric part 5 'of the bent shaft 5 and the eccentric bearings 7, protecting them both from the influence of dust, water etc.
The outer ball bearings are recessed and perfectly fitted in the web of the beams forming the support frame and are fixed with bolts by their edges 9.
All the housings of the ball and roller bearings 7 are perfectly sealed in order to prevent the entry of foreign materials other than the lubricating grease which is introduced individually into each bearing by suitable means. /
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The shaft 2 is provided with two handwheels 10 provided with adjustment counterweights fixed by means of bolts and fitting into toothed grooves.
The sieve is controlled by means of the pulley 34 receiving flat or V-belts 33 using a low power motor 32 and / installed on the rigid cnassis 1.
The wire mesh 14, perforated sheet or mesh screen, is held in place in the vibrating frame 2 'by means of clamps II engaging by their tenon 21 in the housings --- of the body by 2 and fixed / suitable bolts 19 with nuts 20.
Depending on the work which must be carried out by the sifting device, the swap body 2 is provided below the arrival of the materials by% with a distribution box 29 allowing the distribution of the material pouring out through the toothed edge of saw 28 of the hopper 29 opposite the wall 12 over the entire length of the sieve 14. Appropriate barriers 13 and arranged at selected locations along the length of the sieve 14 increase the efficiency of the sieve, especially when is the drying of a wet mixture; these dams can pomporter a discharge edge 31 in the form of saw teeth.
The material to be treated, whether dry or wet, is brought by 30 to the head of the upper bridge of the sieve 2 and immediately placed over the entire length of the sieve element 14 moved by which turns the bent shaft 5 '/ at varying speeds. depending on the material to be treated The number of shakes is relatively high while the stroke of the sieve is very small. The combination of high speed and short stroke gives the entire sifting surface a movement suitable for the separation of products in size.
In the case of drying of small products, suitable arrangements of the bridges allow a rational work of the machine and a treated tonnage as high as it can be.
The water and fine particles passing through the oscillating metal sheets are collected and sent to the narrow spaces suitable for their deposits.
The largest materials when it comes to drying
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
or packing bulky products, pass over the top of the sieves to the lowest part and are taken by known means.
In the case of the treatment of fine and wet materials, the wire mesh 14 is fixed in a particular way as shown in figure 4.
On a wooden or steel frame 22 a first mesh wire mesh 16 is kept rigid then a perforated rubber plate 17 covers this first wire mesh 16. Over the rubber sheet 17 is extended the sieve wire 14. proper, with fine stitches and tension as well as the fixing of this canvas is done using tenon and mortise tabs 15 fixed with wood screws or bolts 26 housed in recesses 27 of the interior frame 25.
The object of such an arrangement of the screen fabric is to ensure that it has as long a life as possible.
The screen which is the subject of this patent application may have one or more bridges with one or more perforations on the same bridge, depending on the problems which arise.
The bridges can have different inclinations see fig. 5 relative to each other and the same bridge itself can be constructed in one or more inclinations along its length depending on the material to be sieved and the results to be obtained.
All these combinations of tilting bridges etc. can be incorporated in one machine and controlled by a single motor.
Deflection plates for the material being treated can be installed between two suppressed bridges which has the advantage of bringing the material always at the top of the upper bridges thus using all their screened surfaces.
The sieve can be installed according to any inclination suitable for the problems to be solved and can easily be changed inclination according to needs by the use of tensioners provided for the suspensions of the sieve.
The sieve that is the subject of this patent application can be completely suspended either using tie rods fitted with tensioners
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
either using chains or cables.
At the same level, the suspensions are attached to horseshoe-shaped eyelets 18 provided with damping springs housed below the shoe of the beams and held using nuts and locknuts.
Depending on the placement possibilities the sieve can also be installed half suspended and half supported from below or fully supported.
Among the many advantages of the proposed vibrating screen, the main advantage lies in that as a whole the screen forms an extremely solid assembly with a very rigid support base, which returns all the energy of the movement to the swap body part. vibrating 2 containing the sieving element
This has the result of obtaining with this machine extremely high sieves per square meter of perforation and also of avoiding any vibration in the slopes surrounding the machine.
The motor being fixed to the frame itself considerably reduces the external dimensions of the device.
It goes without saying that other details or constructive methods can be envisaged without departing from the scope of the invention, which may be characterized by the following:
