La présente invention consiste en un procédé permettant l'ob- tention d'un cuir imitant parfaitement le cuir de Cordoue en par- tant de la partie du ouir tanné, par toute méthode de tannage appelée : croûte.
Le procédé suivant l'invention, comporte substantiellement les opérations suivantes:
La croûte est enduite sur une face d'une couche de colle, préférablement à base de caoutchouc, le cuir ainsi enduit étant ensuite mouillé.
Il suffit alors d'appliquer sur le cuir ainsi traité, une feuille de fleur de mouton et de laisser sécher le tout lentement.

Les opérations seront terminées par un remouillage à l'eau pure et passage de la feuille de cuir dans une presse de façon grainer le cuir.
L'inventeur prévoit de réaliser ces opérations, soit manuel lement, soit automatiquement en tout ou en partie.
