<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

one of the parts of the hearth through the existing openings otherwise to be fitted out leaving the front end of the nozzles forming the primary air intake opening facing the gas injectors outside the hearth
The front support is provided with a fixed easel supporting the nozzles and is provided with a vertical register for adjusting the secondary air inlet which can move horizontally, this support also supporting the ramps but all located in a plane higher than the mouth of the nozzles.
All the nozzles carrying the burner burners are placed in a plane inclined towards the front, automatically causing the water to flow.
The object of the present invention comprises a set of nozzle burners on nozzles, which are arranged side by side parallel to each other or else in a fan, at different level, the central nozzles being in point. The highest.
Injectors completely independent of the nozzles and supplied by down pipes are connected to upper ramps fitted with adjustment valves, this arrangement thus ensuring the automatic flow of the condensation water.
The adjustment of the primary air intake by the special device of the primary air inlet port to the nozzles depends on the adjustment of the gas distribution.
The adjustment is automatic by progressive flame by the use of thermostatic or other devices with variations in water or air temperatures or variations in vapor pressure.
In the accompanying drawing is shown by way of example an embodiment of the present invention.
The fig.l shows a plan view of the assembly of one of the arrangements according to the invention.

Fig. 8 is a front elevation.
Fig.3 is a longitudinal elevation, one of the nozzles being shown in longitudinal section.
Fig. 4 is a front elevation of the bare front support, and
Fig. 5 a front and side elevation of the vertical register.
As detailed above, the burner group is made up of several nozzles a carrying series of bunzen burners b lined with refractory material.
The nozzles a are supported and fixed at their posterior end by a general support b forming a spacer and at the anterior end by a general support c fixing both the injectors ± and the ramps e forming the supply devices nozzles. These ramps are arranged in a plane greater than that of the nozzles a.
Each ramp is fitted with an adjustment device f.
The gas supplied by the ramps e is injected by the injectors d into the nozzles a at their free opening and lower inlet h with an inclined plane ensuring the intake of primary combustion air.
According to the needs, the nozzles are arranged side by side, parallel to one another or even in a fan at different level, the central nozzles being at the highest point.
The fully aétbohes injectors of the nozzles make it possible to see immediately any flame which would appear there.
The support ± carries a mobile vertical damper i fitted with a horizontal baffle inside the fireplace ensuring the rational distribution of the secondary combustion call
The support e remains free at its base to ensure the continuous and indispensable entry of minimum additional air.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
The shape of this support ± and its register is always appropriate to the frame of the fireplace opening in order to obtain an aesthetic appearance and to allow perfect adjustment.
The burner group being introduced into the fireplace, the appliances being in the open position, ignition is obtained by a small pilot j; the gas ignited at the vertical and lateral exits k of the nozzles forms a better distributed combustion surface. The primary air intake depends on the gas flow rate from the injectors and more or less on the chimney draft. The secondary air intake is adjustable via the front damper! essential because this intake cannot be regulated by the chimney, the regulation having to be rigorously proportioned to the combustion.
Once the setting has been established, the fire will be changed according to the intensity of the service, by modifying the gas flow rate at the injectors d by the taps f and by modifying the draft register of the boiler chimney.
The regulation of the intensity of the combustion can be made automatic by the use of automatic devices of the thermostatic type 1 or others controlled by variations in the temperature of the water or by variations in the vapor pressure of the boiler. generator or by variations in the air temperatures of the heated premises.
