Métiers à Tisser   { La présente demande de brevet d'invention a pour objet l'adjonction d'une bague cône en métal embouti formant virole et pla-   cée à force sur le bois de la navette   à   chaque extrémité faisant suite au bee ,après avoir intercalé une rondelle de fibre de deux millimètres environ d'épaisseur entre le bec et le bois de la na- vette qui supporte la bague ,dans le but d'en faciliter la liaison cette rondelle de fibre est affleurée avec le bec et la virole. 



   Dans cette virole sont embouties des cannelures longitudina- les en nombre variable de trois quatre et plus,suivant la grandeur de son périmètre ,et qui constituent la nouveauté du brevet.Ces cannelures ont pour but d'empécher les viroles de tourner sur la navette lorsque par suite du retrait du bois et des chocs répétés par l'usage elles prennent du jeu sur le bois ,tournent et for- ment des saillies qui enlèvent les fils de chaine au passage de la navette,défaut existant avec les navettes garnies de viroles sans rainures embouties. 



   La fig. I représente la partie avant d'une navette munie de   la virole , a est un bec ordinaire b la rondelle de fibre,o la virole cannelée,d une partie du bols de la navette.   



   La fig. 2 représente une coupe horizontale du bout de la na- vette ,d' le   bec,c'   la rondelle,b' la vicole a' le bois de la na- vette.

Looms {The present invention patent application relates to the addition of a pressed metal cone ring forming a ferrule and placed by force on the wood of the shuttle at each end following the bee, after having interposed a fiber washer about two millimeters thick between the nozzle and the wood of the boat which supports the ring, in order to facilitate the connection, this fiber washer is flush with the nozzle and the ferrule.



   In this ferrule are stamped longitudinal grooves in variable number of three four or more, depending on the size of its perimeter, and which constitute the novelty of the patent. These grooves are intended to prevent the ferrules from turning on the shuttle when as a result of the shrinkage of the wood and repeated shocks through use, they take play on the wood, turn and form protrusions which remove the chain threads as the shuttle passes, a defect that exists with shuttles fitted with ferrules without stamped grooves.

Claims

SUMMARY -o-o-o-o-o-o- I claim an improvement in the addition of grooves stamped in the shuttles of the looms shuttles, in order to protect the shuttles from splitting the wood at their ends. ** CAUTION ** end of field CLMS may contain start of DESC **.
