L'invention consiste en un robinet qui présente cette particularité que son corps extérieur est presque entièrement en porcelaine ou autre matière céramique similaire à la por- celaine.
Ledit robinet, eu égard aux conditions de propreté et d'hygiène qu'il a, est par oonséquent très indiqué pour être installé dans les lavabos, baignoires, bidets et autres arti- cles sanitaires.
Les pièces en porcelaine qui constituent notamment la partie extérieure de ce robinet sont: le boisseau qui porte le déversoir; un couvercle ou chapeau placé sur le boisseau, et qui est traversé par la tige de commande, et la poignée unie à celle-ci.

Four plus de clarté, le dessin annexé représente à titre d'exemple, un mode d'exécution du robinet faisant l'objet de l'invention, ce robinet pouvant prendre dès-formes diverses suivant les circonstances et les applications auxquelles il est destiné .
La figure 1 représente une coupe verticale de tout l'ap- pareil, qui se compose d'un corps ou boisseau l'en porcelaine muni du déversoir 2, ce corps ou boisseau étant oraux afin qu'il puisse contenir le mécanisme métallique muni de jjoints élastiques que nous allons décrire.
Ce mécanisme se compose d'une armature ou embouchure 3, terminée, à son extrémité inférieure, par une rondelle 4 qui forme une seule pièce avec ladite embouchure 3. La paroi cy- lindrique de cette embouchure présente des lumières telles que 5 et 6 pour laisser passer l'eau vers le déversoir 2.
L'embouchure 3 comporte en 7 un corps avec orifice file- té qui coopère avec le filet à vis 8 de la tige 9, munie de la poignée d'actionnement 10 qui est vissée sur ladite tige.
A l'extrémité inférieure de cette tige 9 est disposée la sou- pape de fermeture 11 formée par un disque en caoutchouc 12 s'appuyant sur un autre disque en métal 13; cette soupape 11 s'applique contre son siège établi sur'le bord supérieur de la pièce à vis 15 dont il sera parlé plus bas.
L'embouchure 3 possède à sa partie inférieure, un filet à vis 14, dans lequel s'engage celui de la vis 15 établie à la partie supérieure du tuyau 16 d'entrée de l'eau, lequel est tout entier fileté extérieurement pour le montage du robi- @ net là où celui-ci doit etre employé.
Entre l'embouchure 3 et le boisseau en porcelaine 1, est @ disposé un joint en caoutchouc pour rendre le t,out étanche.
Pour placer le robinet dans le lavabo ou autre, il a été aménagé un écrou 17 avec une rondelle 18 à laquelle s'appli- que un anneau en caoutchouc 19.

Sur le tuyau 16 d'entrée de l'eau est monté un raccord 20 sur lequel on fixe le tuyau d'alimentation de la distribu- tion.
Le robinet possède en 21 le presse-étoupes nécessaire pour le joint étanche de la tige d'actionnement 9 et en 20 un couvercle ou chapeau traversé par ladite tige et terminé au bas par une garniture métallique 23.
Aux figures 2 à 4 sont représentées séparément les diffé- rentes parties dont se compose le robinet décrit, lesquelles sont désignées par les chiffres de référence correspondants.
Ainsi qu'il a été dit plus haut, les parties indiquées comme étant en porcelaine peuvent être construites en n'importe quelle autre matière céramique, et le robinet peut présenter diverses formes tout en conservant les conditions essentielles qui le caractérisent.

The invention consists of a tap which has the peculiarity that its outer body is almost entirely made of porcelain or other ceramic material similar to porcelain.
Said faucet, having regard to the conditions of cleanliness and hygiene which it has, is therefore very suitable for installation in sinks, bathtubs, bidets and other sanitary articles.
The porcelain parts which constitute in particular the external part of this tap are: the plug which carries the weir; a cover or cap placed on the plug, and which is crossed by the control rod, and the handle joined to it.

For greater clarity, the appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the valve forming the subject of the invention, this valve being able to take various forms depending on the circumstances and the applications for which it is intended.
Figure 1 shows a vertical section of the whole apparatus, which consists of a porcelain body or plug provided with the weir 2, this body or plug being oral so that it can contain the metal mechanism provided with elastic seals that we are going to describe.
This mechanism consists of a frame or mouth 3, terminated at its lower end by a washer 4 which forms a single piece with said mouth 3. The cylindrical wall of this mouth has openings such as 5 and 6 for let the water flow to the weir 2.
The mouthpiece 3 comprises at 7 a body with a threaded orifice which cooperates with the screw thread 8 of the rod 9, provided with the actuating handle 10 which is screwed onto said rod.
At the lower end of this rod 9 is arranged the closing valve 11 formed by a rubber disc 12 resting on another metal disc 13; this valve 11 is applied against its seat established on the upper edge of the screw piece 15 which will be discussed below.
The mouth 3 has at its lower part, a screw thread 14, into which engages that of the screw 15 established at the upper part of the water inlet pipe 16, which is entirely threaded externally for the fitting of the valve where it is to be used.
Between the mouthpiece 3 and the porcelain plug 1, is @ disposed a rubber seal to make the whole waterproof.
To place the tap in the sink or the like, a nut 17 has been fitted with a washer 18 to which a rubber ring 19 is applied.

On the water inlet pipe 16 is mounted a connector 20 on which the supply pipe of the distribution is fixed.
The valve has at 21 the cable gland necessary for the tight seal of the actuating rod 9 and at 20 a cover or cap through which said rod passes and terminates at the bottom with a metal gasket 23.
In Figures 2 to 4 are shown separately the different parts of which the valve described is composed, which are designated by the corresponding reference numerals.
As has been said above, the parts indicated as being made of porcelain can be made of any other ceramic material, and the tap can have various shapes while retaining the essential conditions which characterize it.
