TRIBUNE.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
hauteur.
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>

Grandstand.
Subject of the invention.
The present invention relates to a spectator stand intended to be arranged around sports grounds, in a stadium, or which can be used more generally for any outdoor event.
Technological background.
It is usual to make stands intended to receive spectators, which are made essentially of reinforced concrete. These grandstands therefore require particularly important structural work on site (foundations, floor slab, etc.). In general, the elements constituting the grandstand are manufactured on demand or made on site, which means that these grandstands are relatively expensive and require experienced labor on site.
In addition, it is impossible to envisage dismantling, even exceptionally, this type of platform and reassembling it later.
Aims of the invention.
The present invention aims to propose a platform which is of a particularly simple design and which requires the minimum of structural work on site.
The present invention also aims to provide a platform which can also be assembled from constituent elements which can be prefabricated. It is therefore a question of proposing a "kit" stand that can possibly be dismantled and reassembled.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
An additional aim of the present invention is to propose a platform which allows the simplification of the carrier system.
Another additional object of the present invention is to provide modular stands, that is to say that one can multiply the number of elementary modules in order to increase the number of spectators who can sit there.
Main characteristic features of the present invention.
The present invention relates to a platform comprising at least two porticos, interconnected by steps constituting the stands, the platform also comprising a canopy intended to protect the stands. According to the present invention, the gantries are made from metallic elements and preferably from steel, and the steps are prefabricated in reinforced concrete and are self-supporting.
According to a preferred embodiment, the awning is suspended between two gantries so as to overhang all of the steps.
According to a more preferred embodiment, there is also provided a profiled fin disposed at the top of the gantries which can ensure the lighting of the bleachers.
It should be noted that the porticos essentially consist of a main mast and an inclined support which directly supports the steps constituting the steps. According to a preferred embodiment, the main mast consists of two twin masts and is arranged in a slight inclination relative to the vertical.
According to the preferred embodiment, the gantries are founded at only two points, which simplifies the infrastructure, but also the supporting system.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Brief description of the figures.
The present invention will be better understood using the figures, in which: - Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a grandstand according to the present invention, - Figure 2 shows a side elevation view of a grandstand according to the present invention, - Figure 3 shows a front elevation view from above of the awning of the platform according to the present invention.
Detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to the figures, it will be easier to understand the platform according to the invention which is shown for two adjoining modules.
An elementary module of the grandstand comprises two metal gantries 0, arranged on either side of steps 7. In the case where several modules are arranged, two successive modules are separated by a single gantry so that the assembly requires the placement of (n + 1) gantries for n modules.
Each gantry 0 comprises a main mast 1 and an inclined support 3 in the form of a beam and intended to directly receive the steps 7 in order to obtain a triangulation. An awning 9 is suspended from each main mast 1 between two successive gantries. According to a preferred embodiment, there is also provided a profiled fin 10 which makes it possible to ensure the lighting of the steps.
Consequently, each metal gantry 0, and more particularly the intermediate gantries, must be dimensioned to be able to support half of the load of the steps on the left side plus half of the load of the steps on the right side.
The main mast 1 consists of two twin masts 11 and 13 linked together by a perforated metal plate 15 which allows the loads to be distributed. This main mast 1 is advantageously arranged in an inclined manner so
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
to cancel the vertical thrust at the location of the inclined support link 3-mast 1, which would tend to overturn the assembly.
In addition, the fact of tilting this mast 1 also makes it possible to increase the number of steps 7 arranged on the inclined beam 3.
This inclined beam 3 is itself made of high strength steel, and for example consists of a profile HEB340 connected on the one hand to the main mast 1 and on the other hand disposed directly on a horizontal base 23 in steel.
The inclined beam 3-main mast 1 connection is made using a simple rigid assembly which consists of a single steel plate, welded on site in the axis of the inclined beam 3 each mast 1, and which allow the expansion of this node.
In the case of significant horizontal forces, a transfer stand 5 is also provided, preferably constituted by a steel profile of the HEB240 type. This stand 5 is on the one hand connected to a base, preferably the base 21 on which the main mast 1 already rests, and on the other hand welded directly to the inclined beam 3. This connection is made essentially perpendicularly by relative to the inclined beam 3.
Each of the parts 1, 3 and 5 constituting the metal gantry 0 is fixed to a horizontal steel base 21 or 23 itself based on a reinforced concrete base 25 or 27.
It should be noted that the dimensioning of the foundations constitutes the only specific constraint according to the nature of the ground on which the platform according to the present invention will be arranged.
According to the present invention, each of the steps 7 is constituted by a U-shaped reinforced concrete beam.
These steps are arranged in the form of an inverted U, the first arm of the step being arranged exactly in the extension and above the second arm of the previous step. In this way, each step is shifted in
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
height.
For each step, a steel post 31 transmits the vertical loads of the steps 7 on the inclined beam 3. These posts 31 are preferably welded in the workshop directly on the beam 3.
A horizontal bracing is planned to prevent the swinging of the porticos 0, by the assembly of a cross of Saint-André under the steps thanks to a bolted assembly plate.
In addition, the steps or steps 7 made of concrete and the steel beam 3 are arranged at the right connections, and more precisely on the posts 31, a decoupling flap 33 made of neoprene which makes it possible to damp the vibrations due to the non-elasticity of the steel-concrete couple.
The steps 7 formed by the steps are self-supporting steps (with a range of eight meters). Indeed, the simple fact of shifting in height each step makes it possible to increase their height. These steps then act as beams and cross the span in one piece.
The mechanical connection of the steps between them is carried out using studs 75 made of special steel which allow the arrow to be taken up between two supports and to transmit part of the forces on an axis inclined towards the ground. In general, there is one stud per running meter. Finally, this makes it possible to prevent possible short-term deformations due to the dynamic efforts generated by the excitement of the public.
In order to prevent the main mast 1 from setting down, the awning 9 has been placed in such a way that two thirds of the load is distributed forwards by one third to the rear. The canopy 9 is directly suspended with the aid of recovery tie rods 91, 92 and 93 from the main masts 1. For this purpose, at the head of each main mast 1, a connecting piece 101 is arranged and constitutes the support for the recovery tie rods 91, 92 and 93 which support the frame of the awning 9.
In order not to interrupt the continuity of the main mast 1, provision has been made for the awning 9 to have an opening
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
or cutout 90. This opening begins around the first third before the awning and has a very small opening angle. This opening continues towards the rear so as to be able to bypass the main mast 1. This arrangement advantageously allows the majority of the opening to remain behind, that is to say where there is no no bleachers. On the other hand, this embodiment allows advantageously to produce symmetrical parts for the canopy 9, which of course reduces the manufacturing costs.
Of course, in order to support this awning 9, it is necessary that two tie rods 91 and 92 are provided at the rear, on either side of the opening 90, while a single tie rod 93 sufficient to maintain the awning 9 at the front.
This awning frame 9 consists of an assembly of conventional metal profiles.
The horizontal connection of the main trusses 95 on the mast 1 is ensured by a "T" assembly 96.
The assembly is braced by crossed cables 97 between each gantry 0.
In addition, additional tie rods 98 are provided in the extension of the inclined beam 3, which connect the rear of the canopy 9 in order to prevent any oscillation or any horizontal flapping of the canopy 9.
The canopy cover consists of a light aluminum cladding, which is fixed in a manner known per se. In addition, a slight slope towards the rear is provided on the awning so as to allow rainwater to flow. For example, an angle of 4 degrees is sufficient to achieve this goal.
The lateral ends of the grandstand are lined with a cladding finish which constitutes the side cheeks 35. Preferably, this cladding is made of anodized aluminum, and is placed along the triangle left in the open air between the ground , the inclined beam 3 and the main mast 1. As a result, the cladding constitutes the lateral flank of the platform.
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
Its assembly is carried out in a manner known per se, so that no sharp blunt edges appear.
Preferably, the sheets will be assembled together so as to obtain that the folds forming the stiffeners in the clad sheets are parallel to the line of inclination of the steps.
Likewise, a closing grid 71 is provided under the platform. This mesh is made of colorless varnished galvanized wire and is placed at the rear of the grandstand to prevent any accumulation of waste, garbage or various objects under the grandstand. This mesh is dimensioned so as to resist a traction of 200 kg minimum at the lateral fixing points. On the perimeter is also arranged a galvanized steel angle iron forming the stiffening frame and the finishing edge of the braided ropes. The fixings are invisible and safe from vandalism.
In order to ensure maximum security, bodyguards 110 and 120 are of course provided, in particular above the side cheeks up to a height of one meter from the horizontal plane of each step. Other railings 130 are provided at the front of the gallery. These railings are made of galvanized steel tubes and are varnished. The connection to the concrete support is carried out as carefully as possible in the absence of blunt edges.
Finally, a fin 10 is provided at the top of the main masts 1 between two consecutive portal frames 0. This fin allows to have the lighting which will illuminate, via a transparent area of the canopy 9, directly the steps 7. This fin consists of an aluminum frame covered with bent and riveted flat sheets. In the lower part of the fin 10 are simply arranged lighting spots which are installed in a cutout provided in the sheets. These spots are arranged in the axis of the mast 1-fin 10 link, but in a slightly offset manner.
The projected light should preferably illuminate the entire grandstand as well as the back of it
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
to illuminate the access roads. It also makes it easy to locate the grandstand and makes it easier for spectators to spot it.
