Abstract

Motor bike with the tilting point between two wheels and above the roadsurface. The motor is kept upright by springs. It is driven by twocounter-rotating shafts with universal joints. The drive shafts are connectedtogether by two differentials. It is steered via an axle that goes throughthe centre of the tilting point. In this manner, we have made a motor bikethat remains upright. We can make it a motor bike with front wheel or rearwheel drive.

De veerspanning is zo gekozen, dat de motor kan kantelen door   een, geringe   kracht. Als we een gekantelde motor loslaten, komt hij vanzelf weer recht. De   aandrijving   gebeurt door middel van twee cardanassen, die in tegenge- stelde richting draaien. fig. 111
De twee aandrijfassen zijn aan elkaar gekop- peld door twee onderling   gekoppelde differen-     tialen. fig. III      Bij   het kantelen van de motor, geeft dit aan een aandrijfas" een vertraging " en aan de andere as " een versnelling "
Dit snelheidsverschil wordt opgevangen door het tweelingdifferentiaal. 



   Op die manier wordt het kantelen van de motor niet beinvloed door de aandrijving. De bestu- ring gaat via een as, die door het midden van het   kantelpunt   gaat. fig. IV Deze as is in twee gedeeld een zijde blijft in de richting van de wielen, de andere zijde kantelt mee met het frame. Op die manier wordt de   besturing   niet   beïnvloed   door het kantelen van de motor.
