Barrier for individual parking spaces, for access to a place or for reserved passage.
The present invention relates to a barrier for individual parking spaces, for access to a place or for reserved passage.
Safeguarding a parking space, access to any place or passage through a specific place is a constant problem.
The motivation for the will or the obligation of such a safeguard may be:
I-Economic:
a- The price of the rental or purchase of these spaces does not allow their non-use, due to its appropriation by unauthorized persons.
b- An unintentionally occupied or blocked place wastes time which can be costly in the cases of: unloading,
a billed visit, obligation to park, self, ticket, etc ...
c- The time lost in searching for the person in violation, with the clearance maneuvers, with the disagreeable conversations and comments, in calming down before being able to re-concentrate on his work, costs a Company, the precious minutes or hours of nonproductivity of the victim.
d- Any loss of money or incidental loss of profit, which an illegally blocked or appropriate location may cause.
11-Practice:
a- Being able, at any time, to be absent knowing that when you return, the location will be usable = MORE MOBILITY.
b- Allow any visitor (customer, supplier, etc.) to find a place during their visit = SERVICE OFFERED, PRESTIGE OR BRAND IMAGE FOR A COMPANY. GOOD END OF TRAVEL INSURANCE-
MENT FOR THE VISITOR.
c- Reserve the locations for immediate approaches to a place of activity, an important area, etc.
There are barrier systems, chains, posts, blocks, etc. on the market for such uses, but generally the work required for installation, the price of the equipment and its installation, the use too general or too complicated for the user, make these systems unattractive for a whole category of users.
Existing equipment is equipment for global use (common entrances, etc.) when it is automated or individual equipment which is impractical (physical intervention which is inconvenient for the user, on this equipment itself).
An attempt has been made of individual automated equipment based on the classic lifting barrier system with a crank rod system, but its use does not seem practical due, inter alia, to the impossibility of locking the obstacle in position. closed and also by the use of a high voltage motor.
Our device, in its electric version, being essentially autonomous and individual, is practical to use. It is an obstacle, fixed to the ground, across the passage of vehicles.
This obstacle pivots around an axis to 'lie' 1 on the ground and allow free passage.
The obstacle constitutes a plan which is articulated:
1- around an axis, perpendicular to the direction of its movement and
placed at a height from the ground which must not exceed half the thickness of this plane, fixed to the ground and which is used for the rotation of said obstacle,
2- around a common axis with the plane or the edge formed by a
connecting rod or a system of connecting rods, located at the tip or the upper edge of the angle formed by this plane or the stop and that of the obstacle. NB: These plans or stops may extend beyond the common axis.
The lower part of the connecting rod or connecting rod system slides forward and / or rearward, parallel or at an angle to the ground and perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the plane of the obstacle.
When the obstacle is lifted, that is to say in the closed position, the movement of the rod (s) moves the lower part of it (s) away from the axis of rotation of the plane of the obstacle, lowering the point from the angle formed by the plane of the obstacle and the plane or the stop formed by the connecting rod (s), towards the ground. - This angle tip stops at a certain height, above the path of the rod (s), in the open position.
Conversely, the movement bringing the lower part of
the rod (s) towards the axis of rotation of the plane of the obstacle, will bring the angle formed by the plane of the obstacle and the plane or the stop formed by the rod (s), upwards and will stop , at the desired height, in the closed position.
Movement can be produced in several ways:
1- By gravity: On descent, the weight of the system, released by the opening of a latch or any other system intended to block it in the raised position, will cause it to descend to the ground. To raise the obstacle, it will suffice to push, with the foot for example, the lower part of the rod (s), towards the axis of rotation of the plane of the obstacle, then to block it in the raised position, in the adequate.
2- Mechanically: When descending, you must press the unlocked system to lower it. The lower part of the rod (s), attached to a spring or elastic, fixed itself towards the axis of rotation of the plane of the obstacle, drives this spring or elastic until the moment or the obstacle, being completely lowered, the lower part of the connecting rod (s) is clamped by a hook, at the end of the stroke. To raise the obstacle, it suffices to unhook the lower part of the connecting rod (s) by pressing on a pedal integral with the hook; the released spring or elastic contracts by driving the system to the raised (closed) position.
3- Electrically: One or more motors drive the movement
connecting rods, fixed to the obstacle on one side and to one or more nuts on the other side. The nut (s) advance and / or reverse along an endless screw (lead screw), fixed to the motor (s), by pulling towards the ground or by pushing towards the raised position, by means of the connecting rods, the obstacle.
The energy required to run the electrical appliance can be an autonomous rechargeable battery, a low voltage power supply connected to the electrical network or directly to the mains, for high voltage models.
4- Hydraulically: One or more hydraulic cylinders entrai.ne the movement of the connecting rods, the bottom of which slides forward and / or rearward to open or close the passage.

by means of an axis (9), by their other side, in the region above the triange or trapezoidal volume by the obstacle.
The assembly is fixed to the ground by bolts or screws, passing through the two hinges, the front of the cover, the seal of the cover and the housing and the rear of the housing.
The height of the whole set is - 42cm, the width (wingspan) is - 80cm and the overall length on the ground is approximately
102cm.
When the obstacle is in the raised position, the passage of the vehicle is prevented.
<EMI ID = 6.1> the bronze nut.
The connecting rods follow by pulling the lowering obstacle.
At the end of the race, the movement is stopped and the circuits are reversed to prepare for the ascent.
On the second impulse, the engine starts again, the nut returns to the engine, driving the connecting rods which raise the obstacle.
The movement will stop in the same way as when going downhill, at the end of the race.
All parts of this device can be manufactured from existing equipment or created in a workshop.
