Paniers rigides empilables l'un sur l'autre et l'un dans l'autre.
La présente invention concerne un type de plateau ou panier rigide pouvant être à la fois empilé l'un dans l'autre et empilé l'un sur l'autre, plus particulièrement pour des fruits fragiles, des légumes ou des produits du même genre.

11 est une vue en perspective de deux des paniers dans un arrangement d'empilage l'un d'en l'autre En se référant aux dessins on illustre un panier selon l'invention désigné de manière générale par la référence numérique 1 qui est obtenu par moulage par injection d'une matière plastique. Le panier 1 est dans ce cas d'une forme généralement rectangulaire et comprend un fond 2 et des côtés s'étendant vers le haut à partir du

fond 2. Les côtés sont constitués d'une paire de côtés longitudinaux 3,4 substantiellement parallèles et opposés et d'une paire de côtés latéraux 5,6 substantiellement parallèles et opposés. Les extrémités supérieures des côtés 3,4,5,6 sont munies de rebords s'orientant vers l'extérieur et vers le bas et qui sont renforcés par des arêtes de renforcement 8.
Les côtés 3,4,5,6 sont légèrement inclinés vers le haut et vers l'extérieur du fond 2. Aussi bien le fond 2 que les côtés 3,4,5,6 sont munis de perforations 10 ayant la forme de losange afin de permettre la circulation de l'air parmi les marchandises stockées dans le panier 1.
Deux montants latéraux séparés l'un de l'autre 15,16 s'étendent vers l'intérieur à partir du côté latéral 6 et deux montants de coin 17,18 s'étendent vers l'intérieur à partir des jonctions entre les côté latéral 5 et les côtés longitudinaux adjacents 3,4. Les montants 15,16, 17, 18 s'étendent vers le haut au dessus des bords supérieurs des côtés latéraux 5,6 et des côtés longitudinaux 3,4 pour supporter un autre panier identique 1 dans une configuration d'empilage l'un sur l'autre comme illustré par les figs. 9 et 10. Des rainures ou gorges complémentaires 15', 16', 17', 18' sont prévues sur les côtés longitudinaux pour accommoder

les montants 15,16, 17,18 d'un autre panier 1 identique en configuration d'empilage l'un dans l'autre comme illustré dans la fig. 11.
La base ou fond 2 et les montants 15,16,17,18 comportent des parties coopérantes qui coopèrent pour maintenir le panier 1 dans une configuration d'empilage avec un autre panier 1, l'un sur l'autre. Les parties coopérantes dans ce cas comprennent une nervure 20 s'étendant vers le bas à partir du fond 2 et dans ce cas se présentent sur le pourtour de la base à l'exception des ouvertures pour les rainures ou gorges 15', 16', 17', 18' comme cela sera particulièrement apparent à partir de la fig. 2 . En configuration d'empilage l'un sur l'autre, la nervure 20 coopère avec les rainures 21,22 prévues au sommet des montants latéraux 15,16 et avec les rainures de coin 23, 24 au sommet des montants de coin 17,18.
On notera que les rainures 23,24 s'étendent substantiellement jusqu'à 90 deg. autour des coins des montants de coin 17,18 afin de permettre l'engagement des parties 23', 24' complémentaires de la nervure 20 d'un autre panier 1 en position de configuration l'un sur l'autre. Les rainures 23,24 sont comprises entre une paire de saillies ou rebords écartés 26,27 et 28,29 respectivement qui coopèrent avec les rainures 23,24 pour retenir les

paniers 1 en configuration d'empilage l'un sur l'autre pour empêcher essentiellement un mouvement latéral entre les paniers 1.
Les surfaces internes des saillies 26,27 et 28,29 sont inclinées vers l'intérieur pour pouvoir adapter les portions d'arêtes 23', 24' du panier 1 du dessus aux rainures correspondantes 23,24 du panier 1 du dessous.
De manière similaire les rainures 21,22 dans les montants 15,16 sont comprises entre les saillies 30, 31 et 32,33 respectivement et les surfaces internes des saillies 30,31, 32 et 33 sont inclinées vers l'intérieur et le bas pour la localisation des portions correspondantes 21', 22' de la nervure 20 du fond. On notera que les saillies internes 31,33 des montants latéraux 15,16 présentent des échancrures 35,36 pour engagement avec des arêtes d'arrêt complémentaires 35', 36' respectivement qui s'étendent vers l'intérieur à partir de la nervure 20 du fond comme illustré plus particulièrement dans la fig. 2.
Les arêtes d'arrêt 35' et 36' se placent dans les échancrures 35,36 et sont maintenus dans cette position lorsque des paniers 1 adjacents dans la configuration d'empilage l'un sur

l'autre afin d'empêcher tout mouvement relatif entre les paniers dans la direction des flèches indiquées dans la fig. 10.
Les montants 15,16 comprennent des languettes 40 (voir fig. 8) pour faciliter l'empilage l'un dans l'autre des paniers 1 comme illustré à la fig. Il.
En pratique, pour empiler les paniers les uns sur les autres les paniers 1 sont présentés l'un par rapport à l'autre avec les montants latéraux 15,16 d'un panier 1 au dessus des montants de coin 17,18 d'un autre panier 1. Quand le panier supérieur 1 est placé sur le panier inférieur 1 les parties d'arêtes 23',24' de la nervure de fond 20 du panier supérieur 1 s'engagent dans les rainures 23,24 des montants de coin 17,18 du panier inférieur 1 et les portions d'arêtes 21', 22' du panier supérieur 1 s'engagent dans les rainures 21,22 des montants latéraux 15,16 du panier inférieur 1. De plus, les arêtes d'arrêt 35', 36' du panier supérieur 1 s'engagent dans les échancrures 35,36 respectivement des montants latéraux 15,16 du panier inférieur.
Dans cette configuration qui est illustrée aux figs. 9 et 10 les paniers 1 sont entièrement supportés l'un sur l'autre et grâce à 1' engagement réciproque des arêtes et rainures,

ne peuvent pas se déplacer l'un par rapport à l'autre dans le plan horizontal. Pour modifier l'empilage dans une configuration où ils sont placés l'un dans l'autre, le panier supérieur est tourné dans le plan horizontal d'approximativement 180 deg. jusqu'à ce que les montants de coin 17,18 du panier inférieur 1 sont en ligne avec les gorges correspondantes 17', 18' du panier supérieur 1 et de manière similaire les montants latéraux 15,16 sont en ligne avec les gorges correspondantes 15', 16'. Le panier supérieur 1 est alors placé facilement dans le panier inférieur 1 en configuration d'empilage comme illustré dans la figure 11.

The present invention relates to a type of rigid tray or basket which can be both stacked one inside the other and stacked one on the other, more particularly for fragile fruits, vegetables or the like.

The basket 1 is in this case of a generally rectangular shape and comprises a bottom 2 and sides extending upwards from the

bottom 2. The sides consist of a pair of longitudinal sides 3,4 substantially parallel and opposite and of a pair of lateral sides 5,6 substantially parallel and opposite. The upper ends of the sides 3, 4, 5, 6 are provided with outward and downward flanges which are reinforced by reinforcing edges 8.
The 3,4,5,6 sides are slightly inclined upwards and outwards from the bottom 2. Both the bottom 2 and the 3,4,5,6 sides are provided with perforations 10 having the shape of a diamond in order allow air circulation among the goods stored in basket 1.
Two lateral uprights separated from each other 15,16 extend inwards from the lateral side 6 and two corner uprights 17,18 extend inwards from the junctions between the lateral sides 5 and the adjacent longitudinal sides 3,4. The uprights 15, 16, 17, 18 extend upwards above the upper edges of the lateral sides 5,6 and the longitudinal sides 3,4 to support another identical basket 1 in a stacking configuration one on the other as illustrated in figs. 9 and 10. Complementary grooves or grooves 15 ', 16', 17 ', 18' are provided on the longitudinal sides to accommodate

the uprights 15, 16, 17, 18 of another identical basket 1 in the stacking configuration one inside the other as illustrated in FIG. 11.
The base or bottom 2 and the uprights 15, 16, 17, 18 have cooperating parts which cooperate to maintain the basket 1 in a stacking configuration with another basket 1, one on the other. The cooperating parts in this case include a rib 20 extending downward from the bottom 2 and in this case are present on the periphery of the base with the exception of the openings for the grooves or grooves 15 ′, 16 ′, 17 ', 18' as will be particularly apparent from FIG. 2. In stacking configuration one on the other, the rib 20 cooperates with the grooves 21,22 provided at the top of the lateral uprights 15,16 and with the corner grooves 23, 24 at the top of the corner uprights 17,18 .
It will be noted that the grooves 23, 24 extend substantially up to 90 deg. around the corners of the corner posts 17,18 in order to allow the engagement of the parts 23 ′, 24 ′ complementary to the rib 20 of another basket 1 in the configuration position one on the other. The grooves 23,24 are between a pair of projections or spaced apart edges 26,27 and 28,29 respectively which cooperate with the grooves 23,24 to retain the

baskets 1 in stacking configuration one on top of the other to essentially prevent lateral movement between baskets 1.
The internal surfaces of the projections 26, 27 and 28, 29 are inclined inwards so as to be able to adapt the edge portions 23 ', 24' of the basket 1 above to the corresponding grooves 23, 24 of the basket 1 below.
Similarly, the grooves 21,22 in the uprights 15,16 are included between the projections 30, 31 and 32,33 respectively and the internal surfaces of the projections 30,31, 32 and 33 are inclined inwards and downwards to the location of the corresponding portions 21 ', 22' of the rib 20 of the bottom. It will be noted that the internal projections 31, 33 of the lateral uprights 15, 16 have notches 35, 36 for engagement with complementary stop edges 35 ', 36' respectively which extend inwards from the rib 20 from the bottom as shown more particularly in fig. 2.
The stop edges 35 'and 36' are placed in the notches 35, 36 and are held in this position when adjacent baskets 1 in the stacking configuration, one on

the other in order to prevent any relative movement between the baskets in the direction of the arrows indicated in fig. 10.
The uprights 15, 16 include tabs 40 (see fig. 8) to facilitate the stacking of the baskets 1 inside one another as illustrated in fig. He.
In practice, to stack the baskets on top of each other the baskets 1 are presented relative to each other with the lateral uprights 15,16 of a basket 1 above the corner uprights 17,18 of a other basket 1. When the upper basket 1 is placed on the lower basket 1 the edge portions 23 ', 24' of the bottom rib 20 of the upper basket 1 engage in the grooves 23, 24 of the corner posts 17 , 18 of the lower basket 1 and the edge portions 21 ', 22' of the upper basket 1 engage in the grooves 21, 22 of the lateral uprights 15, 16 of the lower basket 1. In addition, the stop edges 35 ', 36' of the upper basket 1 engage in the notches 35, 36 respectively of the lateral uprights 15, 16 of the lower basket.
In this configuration which is illustrated in figs. 9 and 10 the baskets 1 are fully supported one on the other and thanks to the reciprocal engagement of the edges and grooves,

cannot move relative to each other in the horizontal plane. To modify the stacking in a configuration where they are placed one inside the other, the upper basket is rotated in the horizontal plane by approximately 180 deg. until the corner uprights 17,18 of the lower basket 1 are in line with the corresponding grooves 17 ', 18' of the upper basket 1 and similarly the lateral uprights 15,16 are in line with the corresponding grooves 15 ', 16'. The upper basket 1 is then easily placed in the lower basket 1 in the stacking configuration as illustrated in FIG. 11.
