The rotor 50 is constructed with horizontal shafts 47 rotatably supported on the both side walls and a plurality of disc-shaped rotor blades 48 mounted on the shaft 47 in spaced apart in regular interval in the longitudinal direction thereof, a pit-run plate 49 formed with a steel plate or hard rubber and 15 radially assembled to the outer periphery of the rotor blade 48. The oooo• S"shaft 47 of the rotor 50 is cooperatively connected to a hydraulic motor 51 mounted on the outside of the rotor cover ••go On the other hand, on the rear end portion of the screen 18, the dust box 52 is arranged in continuation for receiving the filtered out foreign matter of the screen 18 and for vertically movable and tiltable fashion, as shown in Figs. 3 and 4.
Namely, on upper portion on both sides of the housing 17 in the machine frame 13, base end portions of a bent arms 53 extending rearwardly are pivotably mounted for extending and contracting the tip ends thereof by deformation of parallelogram. Both bent arms 53 are supported by hydraulic cylinders 54 for moving the dust box up and down, which hydraulic cylinders 54 are disposed between respective base end portion side and both side portions of the rear ends of the main frame 14. Thus, the tip ends of the bent arms 53 are moved up and down associating with extending or bending by actuation of the hydraulic cylinders 54. On the tip ends of both bent arms 53, the dust box 52 us mounted via pins 55 projected from both side walls. The dust box 52 is pivoted above the pins 55 by the action of hydraulic cylinders 57 for tilting respectively disposed between the end portion of the lever 56 which is secured the base portion on both pins 55 for tilting.
To the main frame 14 in the machine frame 13, a roller traction frame 60 having greater width than the main frame 14 and including a reversed U-shaped mounting portion 58 and a connecting portion short 15 cell grant generating portion provided at the rear end portion of the 0. 0 mounting portion 58, is mounted at both outer sides of the main frame 14. To the connecting portion short cell grant generating portion of the roller traction frames 60, the foregoing beach stamping roller 1 is detachably connected via the connection arm 3.
Since the beach stamping roller is similar to that in Figs. 1 and 3, S•discussion therefor will be omitted for avoiding redundant discussion and whereby to keep the disclosure simple enough to facilitate clear understanding of the present invention.
It should be noted that actuation and stop of the foregoing -16hydraulic unit, the hydraulic motors 25a and 25b and the hydraulic motor 51, and actuation of the hydraulic cylinders 22 for the screen, the hydraulic cylinder 54 for moving the dust box up and down, and the hydraulic cylinders 57 for tilting the dust box are performed by operation of an operation panel (not shown) provided below the housing 17.
For cleaning the san by the traction type beach cleaner constructed as set forth above, and stamping the message and/or logotype on the sane, at first, the machine frame 15 is connected to the traction vehicle via the connecting portion 15. In conjunction therewith, the hydraulic unit is driven by operation of the operation panel.
Then, by activating the hydraulic cylinders 22 for the screen, the screen 18 is set at a necessary tilt angle adapting to dry or wet condition of the sand. In conjunction therewith, by inserting the bolts 41 through i the relevant hole 39 of the lever 38 and the hole of the engaging pieces *15 the tip end of the scraper 35 is set at necessary rake angle adapting to .cleaning depth. Also, by operating the turn buckles 46 appropriately, height of the rotor 50 of the sand pit-run device 42 is set at necessary position. Furthermore, the dust box 52 is placed at the condition shown in Fig. 3. Thereafter, the hydraulic motors 25a, 25b and 51 are driven to travel the beach cleaner towing by the traction vehicle.
By the travel of the beach cleaner, a predetermined thickness of sand admixed with the foreign matter on the beach is pit-run rearwardly and broken by the pit-run plate 49 of the rotor in the sand pit-run device 42 to be supplied to the scraper 35. Then, by scooping of the scraper 17the sand with the foreign matter is supplied to the screen 18. The sand with the foreign matter supplied to the screen 18 is moved rearwardly by rotation of the filter forming members 33 and 34 with filtering to fall only sand having smaller particle size than the mesh size of the filter. On the other hand, the foreign matter having greater size than the mesh side of the filter is transferred rearwardly to be collected within the dust box 52.
In conjunction therewith, the cleaned sand is leveled by the leveling brush 9. Thereafter, the message and/or logotype is continuously stamped or imprinted on the leveled sand. Before and after stamping, the stamping plate 7 is cleaned by the cleaning brushes 10 and 11.
Upon filtering of the sand admixed with the foreign matter (substance to be processed) by means of the screen 18, strip form foreign matter or the like can pass through the filter forming members 33 and 34 .o to prevent jamming to result in plugging. Furthermore, the mesh size of 15 the filter can be made small to separate small size foreign matter with •improvement of work efficiency.
Upon biting of the foreign matter, since the filter forming members 33 and 34 can be easily deflected to prevent damaging of the filter forming members 19a and 19b to provide superior durability.
Subsequently, when the foreign matter collected in the dust box becomes full, the hydraulic cylinder 22 for the screen is contracted to pull up the scraper 23 and the sand pit-run device to travel to foreign matter stacking site to stop towing by the traction vehicle. At the same time, driving of the hydraulic motors 25a, 25b and 51 is also stopped as 18required. Then, the hydraulic cylinders 57 for moving the dust box up and down are extended to tilt the dust box 52 to discharge the foreign matter to the foreign matter stacking site. Then, the hydraulic cylinders 57 are contracted to return the dust box 52 at the initial position for receiving the foreign matter.
Figs. 10 and 11 are plan view and section taken long line XI XI in Fig. 10 and showing another embodiment of the beach cleaner according to the present invention.
In the shown embodiment, the beach cleaner has substantially the same construction as that in the former embodiment except for the shape of the filter forming members. Namely, in the former embodiment, the filter forming members 33 and 34 of the screen 18 are star-shaped one and polygonal one arranged alternately in the adjacent shafts. In contrast to this, the shown embodiment employs only star-shaped filter 15 forming members 33. Operation and function are the same as the S• former embodiment.
S•Figs. 12 and 13 are plan view and section taken long line XIII XIII in Fig. 12 and showing another embodiment of the beach cleaner according to the present invention.
In 19contrast to this, the shown embodiment employs only polygonal filter forming members 33. Operation and function are the same as the former embodiment.
It should be noted that while the foregoing embodiments have been discussed in terms of traction type beach cleaner, the present invention is not limited to the shown type of the beach cleaner. For instance, the present invention is equally applicable for selfpropelling type beach cleaner which has a self-propelling machine frame with tire or crawler.
As set forth, with the beach stamping roller according to the present invention, the message and/or logotype can be continuously stamped on the sand of the beach by towing by the traction vehicle on the cleaned beach or by towing the beach cleaner. It becomes possible to announce to the user that the beach has been cleaned. Also, by the 15 beach stamping roller, mark of the autonomouns body or advertisement °o.ooi of the business entity can be easily stamped on the sand.
!In addition, since the beach can be leveled before stamping the message or the logotype, the stamped message and/or logotype can be °clear.
Furthermore, since the beach stamping roller is cleaned before and after stamping, clear stamping of the message and/or logotype can be maintained.
On the other hand, by the beach cleaner according to the present invention, since the small size foreign matter, such as stripe form foreign matter may easily pass through the filter forming members, jamming resulting in plugging may be successfully prevented. Furthermore, since the filter forming members may form small mesh size filter, fine foreign matter may be efficiently removed to improve work efficiency.
Also, upon biting the foreign matter in the filter forming member, the filter forming members may be easily deflected to avoiding damaging.
Therefore, high durability can be obtained.
Furthermore, since the sand admixed with the foreign matter is pit-run rearwardly by the pit-run plate of the rotor in the sand pit-run device with breaking, scooping of the sand by the scraper can be done efficiently in the predetermined thickness without being affected by dry and wet condition of the sand or other substance to be processed.
In addition, by towing the beach stamping roller by the beach o°cleaner, cleaning of the beach and stamping of the message and/or 15 logotype can be done simultaneously.
"Although the present invention has been illustrated and described with respect to exemplary embodiment thereof, it should be 0000 understood by those skilled in the art that the foregoing and various other changes, omission and additions may be made therein and thereto, without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
