Abstract

A freely movable fastening device allows for changes in the length of façade elements (12) due to humidity and temperature variations. Thanks to telescopic lockable consoles (3), the mounting clearances between the outer wall (1) of a building, the supporting rail (2) and a fastening strip (6) that extends parallel to the outer wall (1) of the building are adjusted and corrected. In order to support the fastening strip (6) and the façade elements (12), the mobility of the consoles (3) in the supporting rail (2) is limited by a stop (16).
