Abstract

Date Feb. 17, 1994.A filter for continuous, industrial-scale filtering of gases charged with solid particles which includes a cylindrical filter body having at least one filtering section divided into an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber by a funnel-shaped separation wall with annular steps, multiple tube filters being fitted in holes provided therefor in the horizontal sections of the separation wall. All parts are positioned substantially symmetrically in a concentric, radial manner with respect to the vertical axis of the cylindrical filter body sidewall. This symmetrical, concentric, radial arrangement enables the filter to operate without any problems at temperatures of 900 DEG C.
