Abstract

The invention relates to a rail system (1) consisting of at least one rail, especially a grooved rail (2), comprising a head (3), a web (4) and a base (5), whereby the rail is possibly fitted with guard-rail ties; at least one shaped base (7) made of an elastomer material which is positioned below the rail base (5), whereby the shaped base mostly has several channels (8) extending in the longitudinal direction of the rail and preferably flanges (9) on both sides which partly or fully enclose the rail base (5); and two lateral shaped sections (10, 10') which enclose the rail on both sides. The invention is primarily characterized in that each lateral shaped section (10, 10') comprises a shaped base (11, 11') made of concrete and an upper shaped section (12, 12') made of an elastomer material, whereby the upper shaped section on the one hand is firmly anchored in the shaped base and on the other hand elastically contacts the rail in the area of the rail head (3).
