Abstract
In a process for recovering heat from waste water from which thermopumps withdraw heat for heating water circulating in heating circuits and for heating industrial water with drinkable water quality, the waste water which flows in consumer conduits are purified in a purification plant (100); purified water is supplied to the thermopumps by means of purified water collecting conduits (102) which extend in waste water collectors of a piping network (103) in heat exchange relationship with waste water flowing in the waste water collectors up to the purification plant, while cooled purified water coming out from the thermopumps (104) is brought back into the purified water collecting conduits. In a system of water lines provided to implement such process there is provided in a piping network with waste water collectors and waste water branch pipes connected to the different consumers locations, a plurality of purified water collecting conduits with purified water return conduits (109) and purified water branch pipes (103a) returning to the consumer locations, respectively starting from the latter, which are used for conveying clarified waste water into a purification plant, and cold purified water, up to the thermopumps installed at the consumer locations, where thermal energy is withdrawn from the purified water before returning it to the purified water collector conduits. The conduits used for the transport of purified water extend in the channels, respectively the conduits, used for the transport of waste water.
