FIG. 6
The present invention relates to a frame structure with an umbrella-shaped carrying
device, and belongs to the technical field of caterpillar cranes.
A frame is an important force-carrying component of a caterpillar crane, for carrying an
upper load delivered through a pivoting support, and delivering the load to a caterpillar rack.
Threaded holes are evenly distributed on the frame to be connected to the pivoting support.
With transport regulations, the use of environmental requirements more and more stringent, to
be adapted to the limitations of the work sites and regulations, the frame structure of the
caterpillar crane more and more needs to be in a more compact structure to meet requirements
of higher carrying capacity.
For the caterpillar crane to meet the lifting performance requirement, entire machine
stability requirement, and proper grounding specific pressure requirement during lifting
operations, a correspondingly and relatively large size is required; a relatively large track
distance between two caterpillars is also needed; moreover, the caterpillar plate also needs the
sufficient width to disperse the pressure of the entire machine on the ground. For a retractable
caterpillar chassis, the total width of a retracted state is basically decided by the widths of the
two caterpillar and the diameter of the pivoting support; for the conventional product with 50
tons or more, the external width during retracted basically cannot meet less than 3 m. For
some caterpillar crane apparatuses operating in special occasions, no on-site assembling
condition is not met, and a road to be driven is also particularly narrow; it is required to
control the external width of the chassis to be less than 3.0 meters; however, the lifting
performance corresponding to the product of the level of tons is still required. The width of
the caterpillar plate is affected by the grounding specific pressure, and cannot be greatly
reduced, which means that the size of the middle of the frame can only be compressed.
In the prior art, the forms of the frame in the caterpillar crane chassis mainly have the
following two modes: solution I: the frame is connected to the caterpillar rack though the axis pin; at the same time, an extrusion block is disposed on both the frame and the caterpillar rack for balancing the stress of the chassis structure. The frame structure connected to the caterpillar rack through the axis pin can implement the separate transmission of the caterpillar rack and the frame but cannot change the track distance and cannot be operated at a site with limited width. Solution II: the frame and the caterpillar rack are connected through the swing leg (or without a swing leg) and the square hole. For the inserted-typed chassis, the frame and the caterpillar rack are connected to the swing leg and the square hole; the separate transmission of the caterpillar rack and the frame can be implemented, the track can also be changed, and the transmission adaptation and construction site adaptation are stronger. However, for the caterpillar chassis in the narrow track state, it is hard to solve the problem of interference between the frame ring beam and the caterpillar rack, and the width of the conventional products of 50 tons or more is hard to be controlled with in 3 meters.
The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome the existing technical defects and provide a frame structure with an umbrella-shaped carrying device, which can enable the frame to both be adapted to the high carrying capability for the pivoting support with a large diameter and a high lifting performance requirement when the caterpillar chassis is in a wide track state, and also meet, when retracted to a small size of an extremely narrow track, the requirements that the transmission width of the caterpillar chassis does not exceed a limitation and the frame does not interfere with the caterpillar rack.
To resolve the technical problem above, the technical solution adopted in the present invention is as follows.
A frame structure with an umbrella-shaped carrying device includes a main frame structure, provided with an umbrella-shaped carrying device; where the umbrella-shaped carrying device comprises an upper seat ring and a lower seat ring connected up and down; a diameter of the upper seat ring is greater than a diameter of the lower seat ring; left and right sides of the main frame structure are respectively and rotatably connected to frame swing legs in a front and back direction; the frame swing legs are connected to square holes on caterpillar rack; a connection part is disposed below a front end of the frame swing leg; a frame swing leg fixing hinge pin and a limiting hinge pin are respectively opened at an inner end and an outer end on the connection part; a first fixing hole and a second fixing hole in cooperative use with the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin and the limiting hinge pin are respectively disposed at a lower bottom surface in the square hole; and a third fixing hole in cooperative use with the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin is separately disposed on a web of the caterpillar rack and located at front and rear sides of two of the square holes.
The upper seat ring and the lower seat ring are connected through multiple vertical plates
distributed along a circumferential direction; and inner rings and outer rings of multiple
vertical plates are respectively fixed through inner rib plates and outer rib plates.
The upper seat ring and the lower seat ring are connected through a taper ring plate.
A backing plate is disposed at an outer side on the frame swing leg.
Lower ends of the vertical plates, the inner rib plates, and the upper seat ring are in
welded connection to the lower seat ring and to the upper seat ring.
The lower ends of the vertical plates, the inner rib plates, and the upper seat ring are
connected to a bottom plate, the lower seat ring is located below the bottom plate, and the
bottom plate is detachably connected to the lower seat ring.
Threaded holes are disposed on both the bottom plate and the lower seat ring, and the
bottom plate is fixed with the lower seat ring through a bolt.
Beneficial effects of the present invention are as follows.
1. The umbrella-shaped carrying device includes an upper seat ring and a lower seat ring
connected up and down; a diameter of the upper seat ring is greater than a diameter of the
lower seat ring. The upper seat ring and the lower seat ring are connected through multiple
vertical plates distributed along a circumferential direction; through transformation, the frame
structure can both consider two pivoting supports; the frame with an umbrella-shaped
carrying device can use the pivoting support with the large diameter and when removing the
umbrella-shaped carrying device, the pivoting support with the small diameter can be used.
2. A connection part is disposed below a front end of the frame swing leg; a frame
swing leg fixing hinge pin and a limiting hinge pin are respectively opened at an inner
end and an outer end on the connection part; a first fixing hole and a second fixing hole in
cooperative use with the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin and the limiting hinge pin are
respectively disposed at a lower bottom surface in the square hole; and a third fixing hole
in cooperative use with the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin is separately disposed on a
web of the caterpillar rack and located at front and rear sides of two of the square holes,
so as to facilitate the fixation of the swing leg in a narrow track state; in the most compact
structure size, the carrying capability, the rigidity, and the strength are maximized; the
width of the caterpillar chassis in the narrow track state does not exceed 3 meters. For the
product less than the level of 50 tons, the total width size may be more extreme.
3. According to actual usage requirements, the umbrella-shaped carrying device may
be welded on the frame structure, may also be made into an assembling structure, and is
connected to the frame structure through bolts to form a new frame structure.

As shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, the present invention discloses a frame structure with an
umbrella-shaped carrying device, including a main frame structure 9. Left and right sides of
the main frame structure 9 are respectively and rotatably connected to frame swing legs 1 in a
front and back direction. To meet a greater track distance change requirement, a swing leg is
lengthened, and is changed into a single swing leg to be adapted to a limited space of the
caterpillar rack when the swing leg in a narrow-track traveling state swings back to be fixed
on the caterpillar rack. The frame swing leg 1 is connected to a square hole 5 on the caterpillar
rack; a connection part is disposed below a front end of the frame swing leg 1; a frame swing
leg fixing hinge pin 2 and a limiting hinge pin 3 are respectively opened at an inner end and
an outer end on the connection part; a first fixing hole 6 and a second fixing hole 7 in
cooperative use with the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin 2 and the limiting hinge pin 3 are
respectively disposed at a lower bottom surface in the square hole 5; and a third fixing hole 8
in cooperative use with the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin 2 is separately disposed on a web
of the caterpillar rack and located at front and rear sides of two of the square holes 5. A
backing plate 4 is disposed at an outer side on the caterpillar rack through the frame swing leg
1. Adjusting the thickness of the backing plate 4 can fill a gap between the frame swing leg 1
and the caterpillar rack square hole 5.
The use mode of the frame structure with the umbrella-shaped carrying device is as
follows: in a working state, the frame swing leg 1 is parallel to the square hole 5 and is
vertical to the caterpillar rack web; the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin 2 is connected to the opposite first fixing hole 6 on the caterpillar rack and the limiting hinge pin 3 is connected to the second fixing hole 7 to implement limitation. The frame swing leg 1 in a narrow track state is vertical to the square hole 5 and is parallel to the caterpillar rack web and the frame swing leg fixing hinge pin 2 is connected to the third fixing hole 8 on the caterpillar rack to implement limitation.
On the basis of a frame structure of a traditional inserting-typed caterpillar chassis, in
the present invention, an umbrella-shaped carrying device is added, as shown in FIG. 1
and FIG. 2. The umbrella-shaped carrying device diverges outwards from a middle
structure of the frame; the frame structure may be connected to a pivoting support with a
large diameter; the structure is compact; and it can be ensured that the caterpillar rack
would not be interfered with the frame when retracted into an extremely narrow track
state. The umbrella-shaped carrying device consists of an upper seat ring 12, a lower seat
ring 13, vertical plates 10, inner rib plates 11, and outer rib plates 14, and gradually
diverges from bottom to top, to ensure that the upper seat ring 12 can be connected to the
pivoting support with a large diameter. The diameter of the upper seat ring 12 is greater
than the diameter of the lower seat ring 13. The upper seat ring 12 and the lower seat ring
13 are connected through multiple vertical plates 10 distributed along a circumferential
direction; and a ring of vertical plates 10 functions as supporting the upper seat ring 12.
Inner rings and outer rings of the multiple vertical plates 10 are respectively fixed
through the inner rib plates 11 and outer rib plates 14. The inner rib plates 11 and outer
rib plates 14 constitute a polygon to connect the vertical plates 10 to the lower seat ring
13 and the upper seat ring 12, to form a box-shaped structure, which has good strength
and rigidity. At the same time, the upper and lower seat ring connection structure
constituted by the vertical plates 10, the inner rib plates 11, and the outer rib plates 14 can
also be connected using different numbers of taper ring plates with or without the rib
plates.
The umbrella-shaped carrying device may be a welded type or assembled type; the
welded type refers to the structure shown in FIG. 2; the lower ends of the vertical plates
10, the inner rib plates 11, and the outer rib plates 14 are welded and connected to the lower seat ring 13. If the lower seat ring 13 is reserved, the inner rib plates 11, the outer rib plates 14, and the vertical plates 10, and the upper seat ring 12 are removed by cutting, to be adapted to a pivoting support with a small diameter. The assembled type may add a bottom plate below the vertical plates 10, the inner rib plates 11, and the outer rib plates 14. The lower seat ring 13 is located below the bottom plate; the bottom plate is detachably connected to the lower seat ring 13. Specifically, the bottom plate is provided with the threaded holes and is connected to the lower seat ring 13 through bolts. The upper seat ring 12, the vertical plates 10, the inner rib plates 11, the outer rib plates 14, and the bottom plate form an assembled type umbrella-shaped carrying device; after detaching the bottom plate, the lower seat ring 13 can be adapted to the pivoting support with a small diameter.
