Abstract

A mining dump truck front axle structure, comprising an axle body welded main beam. The axle body welded main beam comprises: an arced upper top plate (6), an arced lower base plate (7), and arced webs (8). The arced upper top plate (6) and the arced lower base plate (7) are connected with each other via the two arced webs (8). A welding pad (9) is connected at the connection. The axle welded main beam is overall a large circular arc smooth transition. The arced upper top plate (6) and the arced lower base plate (7) employ an arced transition at the arced position. The upper parts and the lower parts of the arced webs (8) are arced edges. The mining dump truck front axle structure is altered into a circular arc, thus significantly increasing the carrying capacity of the structure, and greatly extending the service life.

Description

FRONT AXLE STRUCTURE OF MINING DUMP TRUCK CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0001] This application is based upon and claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 201811542596.2, filed December 17, 2018, and entitled "FRONT AXLE STRUCTURE OF MINING DUMP TRUCK", the entire contents of which are incorporated
herein by reference.
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0002] The present disclosure relates to a mining dump truck, and more particularly, to a front axle structure of a mining dump truck.
BACKGROUND
[0003] Off-highway mining dump trucks are the main transportation equipment in large open-pit mines, which has complex structures and harsh working conditions. A front axle of the mining dump truck is an important part of a traveling system of the entire mining truck, and the structural performance of the front axle has an important influence on the use and maintenance of the mining dump truck.
[0004] Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a front axle structure in the prior art; and Fig. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view along an A-A direction in the prior art.
[0005] The front axle structure is in a "concave" shape as a whole, and is mainly composed of an axle body welded main beam, a suspension cylinder support, a horizontal tie rod support and a longitudinal tie rod support, wherein the axle body welded main beam is formed by welding an upper top plate 1, a lower bottom plate 2, front and rear web plates 3 and a welded lining plate 4.
[0006] The upper top plate 1 and the lower bottom plate 2 are connected through the front and rear web plates 3, the upper top plate 1 and the front and rear web plates 3 are welded together by welded lining plates 4, and the lower bottom plate 2 and the front and rear web plates 3 are welded together by welded pad strips 5. The web plates 3 have a certain length of groove at corner transitions, and are welded together with the welded lining plates 4 by filling welding. All of which are to strengthen the strength at the corners of the original structure, but in fact, the stress concentration caused by the own structure still cannot be compensated.
[00071 The front axle of the existing mining dump truck adopts an integral square box-shaped steel plate welded structure, and both ends of the front axle have a "Z"-shaped small bending angle transition structure. Since this structure has concentrated stress at the small bending angles, the structure has a weak bearing capacity and is likely to cause the cracking of the weld seam. However, with market demands of the off-highway mining dump trucks for larger tonnage models, the strength problem of the current front axle structure has become more prominent, which can no longer meet the requirements for safe and reliable operation of vehicles.
SUMMARY
[00081 The technical problem solved by the present disclosure is to provide a front axle structure of a mining dump truck, by changing the structure of the axle body of the front axle of the mining dump truck to a circular arch shape, the bearing capacity of the structure is greatly improved, and the service life is greatly prolonged.
[0009] Technical solutions are as follows.
[0010] The front axle structure of the mining dump truck, including an axle body welded main beam, wherein the axle body welded main beam includes an arc-shaped upper top plate, an arc-shaped lower bottom plate and an arc-shaped web plate, wherein the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate are connected through two arc-shaped web plates, and welded pad strips are provided at connection positions; the axle body welded main beam is in a circular arch shape as a whole and adopts a large arc smooth transition structure, the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate adopt an arch-shaped transition structure at a bending position, and an upper and bottom of the arc-shaped web plate are arc-shaped edges, wherein the arc-shaped upper top plate, the arc-shaped lower bottom plate and the arc-shaped web plate form a box structure by welding, and inner four comers are overlapped by the welded pad strips.
[0011] Further, the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate are rolled into the circular arch shape through a whole piece of steel plate, and the upper and bottom of the arc-shaped web plate are the arc-shaped edges, which are adapted to shapes of the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate.
[0012] The technical effects of the present disclosure are as follows.
[0013] According to the present disclosure, under the condition of ensuring that the weight of the front axle structure does not increase, by changing and optimizing the form of the structure, the force strength of the front axle is increased by more than 20%. By removing the reinforcing lining plate inside the original front axle structure and the lining plate welded at small rounded corners, the structure is simplified and the force of the entire front axle is more uniform, thereby improving the structural strength, and prolonging the service life.
[0014] 1. According to the present disclosure, by changing the structure of the axle body of the front axle of the mining dump truck to the circular arch shape, the bearing capacity of the structure is greatly improved, and the service life is greatly prolonged.

The present disclosure goes beyond the conventional idea of strengthening the strength of the front axle of the mining dump truck by increasing thicker materials, and does not use welding reinforcing ribs to increase the weight of the axle body, thereby making the structure simpler and also improving the load capacity of the mining dump truck and the fuel economy of vehicle operation.
[0016] 3. According to the present disclosure, after the structure is optimized, the unnecessary reinforcing ribs of the reinforcing lining plate are simplified, and the processing processes are reduced, thereby reducing the production cost.
[00171 4. The present disclosure is not only applicable to the field of mining dump trucks, but also applicable to other heavy-duty and engineering vehicles, and thus, the application range of the present disclosure is very wide.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0022] Technical solutions of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to example embodiments. However, the example embodiments can be implemented in various forms and should not be construed as limited to the examples set forth herein; rather, these embodiments are provided so that the present disclosure will be more comprehensive and complete, and will fully convey the concept of the example embodiments to those skilled in the art.
[00231 According to the present disclosure, a "concave" structure of an axle body of a front axle of a mining dump truck in the prior art is changed, and a new arch structure is creatively proposed, an overall shape of the arched axle body is smooth and there is no singularity in force, so that the force is uniformly distributed on the axle body, and the load-bearing capacity of the front axle is greatly enhanced. Meanwhile, components such as a reinforcing lining plate that needs to be welded due to insufficient strength before are simplified, so that the structure and processing processes are simpler.
[0024] Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a front axle structure of a mining dump truck in the present disclosure; and Fig. 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a front axle structure of a mining dump truck along a B-B direction in the present disclosure.
[0025] A structure of an axle body welded main beam of the front axle structure of the mining dump truck includes an arc-shaped upper top plate 6, an arc-shaped lower bottom plate 7 and an arc-shaped web plate 8, wherein the arc-shaped upper top plate 6 and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate 7 are connected through two arc-shaped web plates 8. The arc-shaped upper top plate 6, the arc-shaped lower bottom plate 7 and the arc-shaped web plate 8 form a box structure by welding, and inner four corners are overlapped by welded pad strips 9. The axle body welded main beam is in a circular arch shape as a whole and adopts a large arc smooth transition structure, the arc-shaped upper top plate 6 and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate 7 adopt an arch-shaped transition structure at a bending position, and an upper and bottom of the arc-shaped web plate 8 are arc-shaped edges. The arc-shaped structure makes the force more dispersed, thereby solving the problem of stress concentration at each comer in the prior art without opening holes for the web 3 itself and welding the lining plates inside.
[0026] The arc-shaped upper top plate 6 and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate 7 are rolled into the circular arch shape through a whole piece of steel plate, and the upper and bottom of the arc-shaped web plate 8 are the arc-shaped edges, which are adapted to shapes of the arc-shaped upper top plate 6 and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate 7.

Any variation or replacement readily figured out by a person skilled in the art within the technical scope disclosed in the present disclosure shall fall within the protection scope of the present disclosure. Therefore, the protection scope of the present disclosure shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
[00281 According to the present disclosure, by changing the structure of the axle body of the front axle of the mining dump truck to the circular arch shape, the bearing capacity of the structure is greatly improved, and the service life is greatly prolonged. Claims (2)

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A front axle structure of a mining dump truck, comprising an axle body welded main beam, wherein the axle body welded main beam comprises an arc-shaped upper top plate, an arc-shaped lower bottom plate and an arc-shaped web plate, wherein the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate are connected through two arc-shaped web plates, and welded pad strips are provided at connection positions; the axle body welded main beam is in a circular arch shape as a whole and adopts a large arc smooth transition structure, the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate adopt an arch-shaped transition structure at a bending position, and an upper and bottom of the arc-shaped web plate are arc-shaped edges, wherein the arc-shaped upper top plate, the arc-shaped lower bottom plate and the arc-shaped web plate form a box structure by welding, and inner four corners are overlapped by the welded pad strips.
2. The front axle structure of the mining dump truck according to claim 1, wherein the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate are rolled into the circular arch shape through a whole piece of steel plate, and the upper and bottom of the arc-shaped web plate are the arc-shaped edges, which are adapted to shapes of the arc-shaped upper top plate and the arc-shaped lower bottom plate.
