A Serine Feed Additive Capable Of Improving The Survival Rate And Growth Speed Of Piglets, And An Application Thereof
Technical Field The application belongs to the technical field of animal nutrition, in particular relates to a serine feed additive capable of improving the survival rate and growth speed of piglets, and an application of the serine feed additive.
Background Art With the large-scale development of the pig industry, the age of early weaning of piglets in production is getting earlier and earlier. However, piglets are susceptible to weaning emergency syndrome after weaning, and there will be problems such as decreased immune function, high mortality, and high morbidity. The use of antibiotics in the growth stage of piglets can enhance the disease resistance of piglets, but long-term use will reduce the immunity of piglets. How to effectively solve the piglet weaning emergency syndrome is still a difficult problem faced by farmers.

Preferably, the feed additive comprises in parts by weight: 80 parts of serine, 10 parts of the compound yeast powder, and 10 parts of the carrier puffed soybean powder. Preferably, theyeast content inthe compound yeast powder is >1.0x110 cfu/g. On the other hand, the invention provides the application of the feed additive, wherein the feed additive is suitable for being added into daily ration of animals before feeding. Preferably, the animals are weaned piglets. Preferably, the feed additive is incorporated into the daily ration of animals in an amount of 1 wt% of the daily ration. The invention is suitable for being added into daily ration of weaned piglets, and is used for helping to enhance disease resistance and immunity of the piglets, improving a feed utilization rate and a survival rate of the piglets, and promoting the healthy growth of the piglets and relieving weaning syndromes of the piglets, thereby the breeding benefit of the piglets is improved.
Specific Embodiments of the Invention The invention is described below in detail with reference to specific embodiments, thereby the advantages and features of the invention can be more easily understood by those skilled in the art, so as to make a clearer and clearer definition of the protection scope of the invention. Serine is a non-essential amino acid, which plays a role in fat and fatty acid metabolism and muscle growth. It is the precursor for the synthetic purine, thymine, and choline, and it is also one of the main components of phospholipids, which is very important for maintaining the health of animals. Compound yeast powder is rich in nutrients and physiological activator produced by yeast. The invention provides a feed additive for piglets that combines the nutrition of serine, the nutrition and physiological activator in the compound yeast powder, and at the same time uses the puffed soybean powder as a carrier. The invention is used for improving a feed

Weighing serine, compound yeast powder and puffed soybean powder without mold or agglomeration, adding them to the mixing container in order under stirring, and stirring and mixing uniformly to obtain feed additive 4. Test 1: The effect of feed additives on the growth and weaning stress syndromes of weaned piglets 150 piglets of 45-day-old DurocxLandracexYorkie with good development, strong appetite, health, similar genetic basis, and similar initial weight were selected and randomly divided into 5 groups, comprising a control group and 4 test groups, each group 3 repetitions, each with 10 piglets repetitions, half of male and female. Each group of piglets was fed with corresponding daily ration, the control group was fed with regular piglet basal diets, and the rations of 4 test groups were piglet basal diets mixed with lwt% of corresponding feed additives. The composition and nutritional level of the piglet's daily ration are formulated with reference to the nutritional requirements of 8-20kg weaned piglets in the pig feeding standard (NY/T65-2004). The piglets of each group are kept in the same pig house, separated from each other. Mixing the feed additives into the feed and feed them 3 times a day (7:00, 12:00, and 17:00), each repeated 10 piglets in the same pig house eat together, freely feed and drink water. The temperature in the pig house is kept at 26~32C, and the
temperature and relative humidity are measured and recorded at 7:00, 12:00 and 16:30 every day. Pre-feeding was carried out for 3 days, and then a 43-day formal test was carried out, all test piglets were weighed on an empty stomach on the first day and the end of the formal test. Observing and recording the health status of all test piglets every day, accurately recording the feed intake and death of each group of test piglets, and calculating the average daily gain, feed-to-weight ratio, diarrhea rate, and mortality of each group of piglets after the end of the test. The results are shown in Table 1. Table 1
Specification
Groups Average daily gain (g/d) Feed-to-weight ratio (%) Diarrhea rate (%) Mortality(%)
Feed additive 1 569.77 1.63 5.60 0 Feed additive 2 602.33 1.57 6.12 0 Feed additive 3 613.95 1.42 7.10 3.3
Feed additive 4 623.26 1.38 5.44 0 Control group 497.67 1.57 16.24 13.3
From the data in Table 1, it can be seen that compared with the control group, the average daily gain of the four groups of piglets fed with feed additives increased by 14.49%, 21.03%, 23.36%, and 25.24% respectively; the average feed-to-weight ratio respectively reduced by 6.85%, 10.29%, 18.86%, 21.14%; the average diarrhea rate was reduced by 65.52%, 62.32%, 56.28%, 66.50%, respectively; piglet mortality was reduced by 13.3%, 13.3%, 10%, 13.3%. What shows that the feed additives 1 to 4 prepared above can all promote the growth of weaned piglets, improve feed utilization, reduce the rate of piglet diarrhea, and thereby increasing the survival rate of piglets. On the day 14, 28, and 42 of the test, 3 piglets were randomly selected for each repetition to collect 8mL of blood from the anterior vena cava, after clotting, the blood was centrifuged at 4°C, 1400r/min for 10 minutes, and the serum was collected and stored at -20°C for later use. Determination of serum creatine kinase (CK) activity and glucose (GLU) content. The results are shown in Table 2. Table 2
Groups CK (U/mL) GLU (rnol/L) Day 14 Day 28 Day 42 Day 14 Day 28 Day 42 Feed additive 1 0.42+0.03 0.58+0.02 0.48+0.02 4.65+0.02 4.62+0.03 5.64+0.03 Feed additive 2 0.31±0.05 0.61±0.08 0.4610.01 4.61±0.01 4.55+0.01 5.57±0.02 Feed additive 3 0.32±0.02 0.56±0.03 0.43±0.01 4.76a0.02 4.60±0.02 5.72±0.03 Feed additive 4 0.30±0.03 0.54b0.00 0.41+0.02 4.58A0.03 4.53=0.02 5.66+0.02 Control group 0.65±0.01 0.74±0.02 0.68±0.01 4.57±0.01 4.60±0.02 5.80±0.01
It can be seen from the data in Table 2 that compared with the control group, the serum creatine kinase (CK) content of the 4 groups of piglets fed with feed additives was significantly reduced, however the glucose (GLU) content did not change significantly. Creatine kinase (CK) and glucose (GLU) are two important indicators of stress in weaned piglets. CK mainly exists in the myocardium, and the content of serum is less when the piglets are normal. Only when the body is diseased or the body tissue is damaged, it will increase. When the weaned piglets are under stress, the content of CK in the serum increases rapidly, the GLU produced by starch digestion is less, the serum GLU concentration will also decrease, and the energy utilization rate will decrease. The results in Table 2 show that the feed additives 1 to 4 prepared

above can all reduce the weaning stress response of the piglets, alleviate the weaning stress syndrome of the piglets, and promote the healthy growth of the weaned piglets. The above are only the embodiments of the invention, and do not limit the scope of the invention. Any equivalent structural transformation made by using the content of the invention, or directly or indirectly applied in other related technical fields, are included in the same way, should be included within the scope of patent protection of the invention.
