Description

DESCRIPTION DRAWER FOR A KITCHEN CUPBOARD
Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to a drawer for a kitchen cupboard, with a base, a front wall, a rear wall and a mounting frame, which has one or more mounting openings for containers, wherein the drawer can be moved by means of preferably telescopic displacement rails between a retracted position and an extended position, the displacement rails have a cover and the mounting frame rests on the covers.
Prior art
[0002] Drawers of the type in question are known. These serve for example in the kitchen area for the receiving and mounting of containers, further for example waste containers. Reference is to be made for example to EP 2 340 743 Al. From this patent application, it is known to provide the drawer with a mounting frame which, resting on the covers of the displacement rails, serves in particular for the hanging mounting of containers. Furthermore, for example from DE 20 2015 100 485 Ul, a drawer with mounting frame is known, for the standing arrangement of containers on the base.
Summary of the invention
[0003] With regard to the prior art described above, the problem arises of further developing a drawer of the type in question in an advantageous manner.
[0004] A possible solution to the problem is provided according to a first inventive idea in a drawer in which the mounting frame designed for mounting containers standing on the base rests by means of outwardly directed angle brackets, comprising a horizontal arm and a vertical arm, on end surfaces of the covers over a length given by a distance between the inner surfaces of the front wall and the rear wall, the vertical arms transitioning into a horizontal edge surface, which is lowered with respect to the horizontal arms towards the base and delimiting the mounting openings.
[00051 As a result of the proposed embodiment, with regard to a standing arrangement of the containers in the drawer, an advantageously simple configuration is produced of the mounting frame, comprising or at least partially surrounding the container or containers, in particular for lateral support. For this, as is also preferred, each container can pass through a separate mounting opening in the mounting frame.
[00061 The angle brackets appear in a vertical section plane transversely to a direction of travel of the drawer, are directed outwards here, accordingly preferably formed with their angle openings pointing away from one another. Here, the outer surfaces of the vertical arms of the angle brackets, pointing away from one another, are covered by the associated horizontal arms, via which a preferably direct resting on a facing support surface of the cover, pointing upwards in the position of use, is able to be achieved. The vertical arms of the angle brackets, in the resting position of the mounting frame on the covers, representing if applicable side walls of the drawer, are aligned facing the inner surfaces of the covers, pointing towards one another, wherein an upper edge region of a cover, offering the support surface, at least partially fills the angle opening delimited by the horizontal arm and the vertical arm.
[0007] Furthermore here, as is also preferred, an opening area of the mounting opening, in conventional usage position of the containers, can be spaced apart from the base in vertical direction with respect to planes, in particular in a parallel manner. In an embodiment of several mounting openings in the mounting frame, the respective opening areas, as is further preferred, can extend within a common plane (opening plane).
[0008] The mounting plane preferably lies via the horizonal arms on the end faces, pointing upwards in operating position, of the covers. This support can occur over the entire length of the cover occurring in the pulling-out direction of the drawer, further preferably over at least 50% of this length up to 90 or 95%.
[0009] Through the vertical arm of the mounting frame, proceeding from the horizontal arm, which vertical arm in conventional operating position transitions into the horizontal edge surface running beneath the plane of the horizontal arms, a securing of the mounting frame in position can be achieved in a direction transversely to a pulling-out direction.
[0010] A support plane is spanned by support respectively provided through the horizontal arms preferably provided in duplicate and lying opposite.
[0011] An edge surface delimiting the mounting openings can thus be formed accordingly with respect to the support plane of the mounting frame on the covers in the manner of a depression, so that the opening plane of the mounting openings can extend furthermore in vertical direction between the base (base plane), preferably also extending according to a plane, and the support plane.
[0012] Further features of the invention are explained below, also in the description of the figures, often in their preferred association with respect to the subject of Claim 1 or to features of further claims. However, they can also be of significance in an association to only individual features of Claim 1 or of the respective further claim or respectively independently.
[0013] Thus according to a possible configuration, the mounting frame may only be fastened on the front wall or additionally on the rear wall of the drawer. Accordingly, in accordance with a preferred embodiment, no direct fastening may occur between the mounting frame and the covers. Rather, as is also preferred, an indirect fastening of the mounting frame on the covers may be provided via the front wall and, if applicable, additionally via the rear wall.
[0014] The horizontal edge surface, delimiting the mounting opening, can also be formed over the length, i.e. in pulling-out direction of the drawer. Further preferably, thus two edge surfaces can occur, respectively substantially associated with a cover, running in longitudinal extent direction of the covers.
[0015] In a further possible configuration, the edge surface may also be formed, at least partially in a circumferential manner, with a portion also associated with the rear wall and/or with the front wall. Thus, furthermore respectively in a circumferential manner, an opening area of the mounting opening may also be delimited in the opening plane alone or predominately through the edge surface.
[0016] In a possible embodiment, the mounting frame can transition, proceeding from a partial region of the edge surface associated with the front wall and/or with the rear wall, into a fastening lug. The fastening lug may, as is preferred, serve for fastening the mounting frame on the front wall or respectively on the rear wall, for example for screw fastening. Here, the fastening lug can extend substantially in a vertical direction with respect to an operating position of the drawer, thus further preferably substantially perpendicularly to the opening plane of the holding frame.
[0017] The fastening lug can, furthermore, be formed in a single material with the mounting frame. In this respect, it may be appropriate to form the mounting frame as a bent part, in particular a bent sheet metal part.
[0018] In addition, according to a possible configuration, the end surface of the cover can also extend with respect to a height of the front wall, proceeding from the base, in particular from the base plane, on half or less of this height. Accordingly, an extent of the opening plane of the horizontal edge surfaces delimiting the mounting openings can preferably occur beneath an extent dimension, observed in vertical direction, of the front wall of the drawer. In a further preferred configuration, the end surface of the cover can extend approximately in a height viewed from the base, in particular from the base plane, which can correspond approximately to a quarter or less, furthermore for example approximately a fifth or less, of the front wall height.
[0019] Moreover, as a result of the previously described arrangement, with regard to height, of the end surface of the cover or respectively of the edge surfaces surrounding the mounting openings, an enclosing of the containers received in the mounting openings can occur, in such a way that this enclosing is achieved in a region of a lower quarter or of a lower third of the container which is standing on the base, whereas the upper for example two- third or three-quarter region of the container can be provided if applicable in a free-standing manner projecting freely beyond the mounting frame.

Description of the embodiments
[00211 Firstly with reference to the illustrations in Figures 1 and 2, a kitchen cupboard 1 with a drawer 2 is illustrated and described, which drawer 2 can be extended, relative to the body of the kitchen cupboard 1 in a direction of travel r, and can be retracted contrary to the direction of travel r.
[0022] The body of the kitchen cupboard 1 can have at least one cupboard base 3, two cupboard side walls 4 extending in a vertical plane and, if applicable, a cupboard rear wall 5. The top of the cupboard can be formed for example by a kitchen worktop 6.
[0023] In the position of use, the front side of the kitchen cupboard 1, facing the interior of the room, is preferably able to be closed by the front wall 7 of the drawer 2. On this front wall 7, a cover frame 8 is fastened, in particular screw-fastened, on the inner side, facing the body interior (see for example sectional illustration in Figure 5).
[0024] The arms of the cover frame 8, extending in direction of travel r of the drawer 2, form frame-like covers 9. Preferably, two covers 9 are provided, spaced apart transversely to the direction of travel r and running parallel to one another, which further preferably can overlap telescopic displacement rails 10 in direction of travel r. Here, preferably one telescopic rail is fastened on the cupboard base 3 and the other telescopic rail is displaceable together with the cover 9.
[0025] As illustrated in the example embodiments, the covers 9 can be connected to one another rearward, accordingly facing the cupboard rear wall 5 via a cover transverse bar 12.
[0026] Between the inner sides of the covers 9, pointing towards one another, and preferably the inner side of the cover transverse bar 11 forming a rear wall 19 of the drawer 2, a base extends 12 extends, preferably aligned parallel to the cupboard base 3. This base is securely connected to the covers 9 and, if applicable, to the rear wall 19, for example as a result of formation in one piece and, if applicable, in a single material.
[0027] In the direction of the front wall 7, the base 12, as is also preferred, can terminate in a shared vertical plane, if applicable the fastening plane to the front wall 7, with the covers 9.
[0028] The base 12 preferably forms the drawer base.
[0029] The end surfaces 13, pointing upwards in the usual state of use, of the covers 9 and, if applicable, also the rear wall 19, can, as is further also preferred, extend in a shared horizontal plane, can therefore form a support plane A for a mounting frame 14 for containers 15. These end surfaces 13, in particular those of the covers 9 running in displacement direction r, are used according to the illustrated example embodiments for supporting the mounting frame 14.
[00301 The containers 15, as also illustrated, can concern for example waste containers with a rectangular outline in an elongated manner in a vertical projection viewed onto the cupboard base 3, and with a height, in position of use, in vertical direction, which can preferably correspond to a multiple of the shorter side extent measurement in outline. Thus, such a container 15 can have in outline a length 1, which can correspond approximately to 1.5 to 2.5 times, further approximately 2 times the width b viewed transversely hereto. The height h of such a container 15 can correspond approximately to the previously described length measurement 1 in outline or approximately 0.7 to 1.5 times this length measurement 1.
[0031] In the illustrated example embodiment two containers 15 are provided, which are configured identically. The further embodiments with respect to the formation of the mounting frame 14 refer, however, in the same manner also to embodiments for receiving only one container 15 or for receiving more than two containers 15, wherein further also in particular with respect to the outline configuration, different containers 15 can be provided.
[0032] The containers 15 pass through mounting openings 16 of the mounting frame 14. The mounting openings 16 are preferably closed in a circumferential manner with respect to an outline, wherein the circumferential margin edge of the mounting opening 16 resulting here can lie according to a possible embodiment against the facing wall outer surface of the container 15 or flanks this with a slight distance of a few millimetres, for example 1 to 3 mm.
[00331 Circumferentially to the mounting openings 16, edge surfaces 18 occur in the mounting base 17 having the mounting openings 16. These edge surfaces 18 can form as a whole the mounting base 17, wherein the latter preferably extends in a horizontal plane between the base 12 and the plane provided through the end surfaces 13. Here, with respect to each mounting opening 16 an opening area of the mounting opening 16 can occur extending in the plane of the upwardly pointing surface of the mounting base 17 or respectively of the edge surfaces 18. The opening areas of all the mounting openings 16 provided in the mounting frame 14 can extend, as is further preferred, in a shared horizontal opening plane 0 in the usual operating position, which, moreover further preferably, can touch the surface of the mounting base 17.
[0034] Thus, proceeding from the base 12, in particular from the base plane B provided through the base surface up to the support plane A, provided by the end surface 13, a height d can result, which in the illustrated example embodiment can correspond approximately to one fifth of the height c of the front wall 7, likewise proceeding from the base plane B. The opening plane 0 of the mounting openings 17 is preferably arranged in an offset manner by an offset dimension e proceeding from the support plane A in the direction of the base 12. The offset dimension e can correspond to approximately one tenth to one fifth, further for example approximately one seventh, of the height d of the covers 9.
[00351 These covers 9 extend further with reference to the displacement direction r of the drawer 2 over a length a provided between the inner surfaces of the front wall 7 of the drawer 2 facing one another, and the rear wall 19
(cf. Figure 3). The mounting frame 14, in particular the mounting base 17, can also extend over this length. Moreover, preferably a supporting of the mounting frame 14 on the covers 9, in particular on the end surfaces 13 thereof, also takes place over this length a.
[00361 For this, the mounting frame 14 has further respectively associated with a cover 9 and with reference to a vertical section according to Figure 6, directed transversely to the displacement direction r, an angle bracket 20, with a horizontal arm 21 and a vertical arm 22. The vertical arm 22 proceeds from the horizontally running edge surface 18 and extends upwards in conventional usage alignment, here preferably forming an angle of approximately 90° to the edge surface 18. The vertical extent dimension of the vertical arm 22 is determinative for the offset dimension e. In the upwardly pointing end region of the vertical arm 22, the latter transitions into the outwardly directed horizontal arm 21. The two horizontal arms 21 of both edge surfaces 18, running in displacement direction r, are accordingly formed pointing away from one another.
[0037] The vertical arms 22 preferably run codirectionally to the inner sides, pointing towards one another, of the covers 9 running in displacement direction r, flanking these with a slight distance of a few millimetres, for example 1 to 5 mm.
[00381 Via the horizontal arms 21, a supporting occurs of the mounting frame 14 on the cover frame 8, in particular on the end surfaces 13 of the covers 9 in the support plane A.
[00391 If applicable, via such an angle bracket 20, in particular such a horizontal arm 21, in addition also a supporting can be provided on the end surface of the cover transverse bar 11 in this respect, or respectively the rear wall 19.
[0040] The mounting frame 14 and in particular the covers 9 are preferably not directly connected to one another. Rather, an indirect connection via the front wall 7 is preferred.
[0041] For this, the mounting frame 14 furthermore, proceeding from a partial region of the edge surface 18, in particular facing the front wall 7, can transition into a fastening lug 23, preferably extending in a vertical plane. According to the first example embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 8, this fastening lug 23 can extend upwards, proceeding from the edge surface 18, accordingly facing away proceeding from the surface of the edge surface 18.
[0042] Via bores provided in the fastening lug 23, a fastening of the mounting frame 14 can be achieved by means of screws 24 on the front wall 7 (cf. Figure 4).
[0043] In the second embodiment, illustrated in Figure 9, the previously described fastening lug 23 is developed, proceeding from the associated edge surface 18 downwards in the direction of the base 12. Here, also, a corresponding screw fastening of the mounting frame 14 on the front wall 7 can be achieved.
[0044] In addition, via a further fastening lug 26, facing the rear wall 19 or respectively the cover transverse bar 11, a fastening on the rear wall 19 can also be provided.
[0045] Preferably, the mounting frame 14 is formed as a bent sheet metal part in a single material with the one or both fastening lugs 23, 26 and with the angle brackets 20 and the mounting base 17.
[0046] With displacement of the drawer 2 into an extended position according to Figure 2, the cover frame 8 together with the mounting frame 14 and the containers 15 installed on the base 12 of the cover frame 8 is moved in displacement direction r relative to the fixed cupboard base 3.
[0047] The above statements serve to explain the inventions, gathered from the application as a whole, which further develop the prior art at least through the following feature combinations respectively also independently, wherein two, more or all of these feature combinations can also be combined, namely:
