Abstract

A safe disposable food packaging box comprises a box body and a box cover. A lower edge of the box cover is folded outwardly to form a lower engaging end portion. An upper edge of the box body is folded outwardly to form an upper engaging end portion with an engaging groove to 5 accommodate the lower engaging end portion and having an interference fit with the lower engaging end portion. One side of the box cover extends horizontally outwardly to form an upper tear tab. One side of the box body extends horizontally outwardly to form a lower tear tab corresponding to the upper tear tab. A tear strip is connected between the upper tear tab and the lower tear tab. A tear line is disposed between the tear strip and the upper tear tab. Another tear line 10 is disposed between the tear strip and the lower tear tab.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION [0001] The present invention relates to food packaging, and more particularly to a safe disposable food packaging box.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] With the rapid development of the modem food industry and the continuous improvement of the living standards, the demand for food packaging boxes is increasing, and the requirement for the quality of the packaging boxes is high. A conventional food packaging box is generally made of a plastic material, including a box body and a box cover to cover the mouth of 10 the box body. The above-mentioned packaging box still has deficiencies, for example, the box cover can be opened at will, and the sanitary safety cannot be guaranteed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0005] In view of the deficiencies of the prior art, it would be desirable to provide a safe disposable food packaging box. After a box body and a box cover are installed, the fastening effect is good. If used once, the user can know that the packaging box has been used.
[0006] In a first aspect the invention provides a safe disposable food packaging box, 20 comprising a box body and a box cover to cover the box body, a lower edge of the box cover being folded outwardly to form a lower engaging end portion, an upper edge of the box body being folded outwardly to form an upper engaging end portion with an engaging groove to accommodate the lower engaging end portion and having an interference fit with the lower engaging end portion, an upper edge of the upper engaging end portion being folded outwardly to form an end holding 25 portion, an upper edge of the lower engaging end portion overlapping the end holding portion to form a stepped groove with the upper engaging end portion; one side of the box cover extending horizontally outwardly to form an upper tear tab, one side of the box body extending horizontally outwardly to form a lower tear tab corresponding in position to the upper tear tab, a tear strip being connected between the upper tear tab and the lower tear tab, a tear line being disposed between the 30 tear strip and the upper tear tab, another tear line being disposed between the tear strip and the lower tear tab.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS [0018] Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0019] Referring to FIG. 1 through FIG. 6, a safe disposable food packaging box comprises a box body 1 and a box cover 2 to cover the box body 1. A lower edge of the box cover 2 is folded outwardly to form a lower engaging end portion 3. An upper edge of the upper engaging end portion 5 is folded outwardly to form an end holding portion 11. An upper edge of the lower engaging end portion 3 overlaps the end holding portion 11 to form a stepped groove 14 with the upper engaging end portion 5. One side of the box cover 2 extends horizontally outwardly to form an upper tear tab 6, and one side of the box body 1 extends horizontally outwardly to form a lower tear tab 7 corresponding in position to the upper tear tab 6. A tear strip 8 is connected between the upper tear tab 6 and the lower tear tab 7. A tear line 9 is disposed between the tear strip 8 and the upper tear tab 6. Another tear line 10 is disposed between the tear strip 8 and the lower tear tab 7. According to the above structural design, the lower engaging end portion 3 overlaps the end holding portion 11 to form the stepped groove 14 with the upper engaging end portion 5, that is, a height difference is formed between the end holding portion 11 and the lower engaging end portion 3, so that it is impossible to directly separate the box cover 2 from the box body 1 via the circumference of the box cover 2, and only the tear strip 8 can be tom. Because there are the tear lines 9, 10 between the tear strip 8 and the upper and lower tear tabs 6, 7, the tear strip 8 is easily separated from the upper and lower tear tabs 6, 7. The left and right hands tear the lower tear tab 7 and the upper tear tab 6 respectively to separate the box cover 2 from the box body 1. Thereby, the user can judge whether the packaging box has been used.
[0020] The end holding portion 11 is formed by folding the upper edge of the upper engaging end portion 5 to facilitate the user to hold the box body 1.
[0021 ] Upper and lower surfaces of two ends of each of the upper and lower tear tabs 6, 7 are provided with a plurality of protrusions 12 that are obliquely disposed. The length of the tear strip 8 is greater than that of the upper and lower tear tabs 6, 7. Inner sides of two ends of the tear strip 8 are provided with cylindrical protmsions 13, respectively. The design of the protmsions 12 and the cylindrical protrusions 13 is to improve the friction of the hand and facilitate the opening of the packaging box.
[0022] In summary, the present invention solves the deficiencies existing in the prior art through the above structural design, and has the characteristics of reasonable structure, high safety and good anti-dismantle performance.
