Method and device for bioremediation of water body
Field of invention
The invention relates to a method and device for bioremediation of
water body.
Background art
With the rapid development of economy, a large amount of industrial,
domestic and agricultural sewage are discharged, and various pollutants
flow into water body resulting from atmospheric deposition, precipitation
and run-off to cause pollution. The excessive nitrogen, phosphorus and
heavy metals in rivers and lakes lead to proliferation of algae, and the
original ecological balance and structure of water bodies are destroyed. In
recent years, cyanobacteria bloom frequently occurring in inland and
offshore of China is an ecological disaster caused by eutrophication of
water bodies caused by due to pollutant discharge. As a result, water
quality decreases, water becomes black and smelly, dissolved oxygen
exhausts, transparency lowers, fish die, humans and animals are toxicated,
leading to extremely serious environmental pollution problems.
Chinese Patent Application No. 201010539843.0 discloses a method and
system for remediation and treatment of polluted river body, while
Chinese Patent Application No. 201310006749.2 discloses a polluted
water body treatment system and a construction method thereof, both of
which deals with water pollution by conventional sewage treatment methods with large workload, low efficiency and high cost.

the aerating oxygenation grid and the microporous aeration tube, the
microporous aeration tube being disposed in the region of the composite
microbial generating device.
The microporous aeration and oxygenation system consists of a
vortex blower, a microporous tubular aerator or an aerating oxygenation
grid (10 tubes for each grid, but the choice is not limited thereto), and a
microporous aeration tube. A membrane in the microporous tubular
aerator has a pore size of 80-100pm.
The composite microbial generating device is mainly composed of a porous cylindrical stainless steel tube or a porous sintered ceramic tube, a micro oxygenation tube, immobilized microorganism and a filter bed.
The filter bed consists of one or more of natural zeolite, ceramsite
and volcanic rock; the immobilized microorganism is one or more of
photosynthetic bacteria, Thiobacillus, actinomycetes, lactic acid bacteria,
yeast, Bacillus, denitrifying bacteria and nitrifying bacteria.
The carbon fiber ecological base has a specific surface area of
10003000 m2/g. The selected carbon fiber ecological base readily

fluidization and activation flushing system are: firstly, to activate the
indigenous bacteria, accelerate water flow, increase dissolved oxygen
content of water body, activate the water body, reduce the loss and
consumption of the composite microorganisms; secondly, to inoculate and
proliferate the bacteria to keep the water body biologically balanced;
thirdly, to promote circulation and fluidization, so that the filter material
is loose and does not easily stuck the device.
The water body bioremediation device is further provided with a
floating body. The floating body which is a high-density foam rubber is optional according to practical use. The height of the water body bioremediation device in the polluted water body may be adjusted according to the water depth, and the floating body is usually placed outside the tank.

may be made by materials such as FRP for anti-corrosion or
corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
A lower part of the tank is provided with a polluted water inlet, and
an upper part of the tank is provided with a purified water outlet, wherein
the position of the polluted water inlet is higher than that of the
microporous tubular aerator or the aerating oxygenation grid, and the
position of the purified water outlet is higher than that of the composite
microbial generating device.
A method for bioremediation of water body comprises:
introducing water to be treated (polluted water) into a water body
bioremediation device, and increasing dissolved oxygen in the water body
by a microporous aeration and oxygenation system, wherein the dissolved
oxygen content is adjusted to be >2 mg/L, preferably 2.0 - 4.0 mg/L, so
as to allow steady degradation, nitrification, and ammoniation of organic
matter in the polluted water;
introducing the aerated and activated water body upward through a
carbon fiber ecological base to form a biofilm on the carbon fiber ecological base, so as to optimize the indigenous bacteria, keep in constant contact with the substrate in the polluted water, and purify the polluted water by absorption, mass transfer, metabolism and the like; then introducing the water body treated by biofilm on the carbon fiber ecological base to a composite microbial generating device to convert the organic macromolecules in the water body to soluble organic micromolecules, and activating indigenous bacteria through a circulating fluidization and activation flushing system, so as to effectively adsorb, transform and degrade nitrogen and phosphorus in the water body by microbials, inhibit reproduction of algae, and achieve bioremediation of the water body.
The method maintains the pH of the water body in a range of
equivalent to or larger than 7, and the temperature of the water body in a
range of 20-35°C during treatment.
The principle of the invention is as follows: dissolved oxygen
content in eutrophicated, smelly water body is increased through
microporous aeration, oxygenation and activation, and aerobic
microorganisms are activated, so as to allow steady degradation,
nitrification, and ammoniation of organic matter in the polluted water.
The polluted water enters the bioremediation device and is activated by
microporous aeration and oxygenation. Then through the carbon fiber
ecological base and the composite microbial generating device, macromolecular organic matter in the polluted water may be transformed into soluble organic small molecule by extracellular enzyme. The organic small molecules undergo primary decomposition and are absorbed and degraded through enzymatic reaction; the circulating fluidization and activation flushing system activates indigenous bacteria, accelerates the proliferation and reproduction thereof, utilizes the microorganisms to effectively adsorb, transform and degrade nitrogen and phosphorus in water, inhibits algae reproduction, biologically strengthen the self-cleaning function of the water body and maintain ecological balance.
Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following
advantages and beneficial effects:
The water body bioremediation device of the invention can be
placed in a polluted river or lake, and water may be introduced naturally
along the direction of the aerated water flow to carry out bioremediation
of the black and odorous water body; or it may be placed on a shore and
suck the black and odorous water in for bioremediation by a pump.
