DESCRIPTION
AUTOMATIC SHIFTING MECHANISM OF AN ELECTRIC TRICYCLE CONVENIENT FOR MOUNTING
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an automatic shifting mechanism of an electric tricycle convenient for mounting.
Background of the Invention
In order to control forward and backward gears of an electric tricycle more conveniently, an automatic transmission is mounted on the electric tricycle. However, the price of the existing automatic transmission is too expensive with respect to the electric tricycle, so that the application of the existing automatic transmission on the electric tricycle is bound to cause a sharp rise in the manufacturing cost of the electric tricycle.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to provide an automatic shifting mechanism of an electric tricycle convenient for mounting which has low cost and convenient maintenance, and may control the forward and backward gears of the electric tricycle more conveniently.
To realize this purpose, the present invention employs the following technical solutions: an automatic shifting mechanism of an electric tricycle convenient for mounting includes a transmission housing; a main shaft, having an input gear, a backward gear and a forward gear mounted thereon, is provided inside the transmission housing, the input gear and the main shaft are in synchronous rotation connection, and the backward gear and the forward gear are in relative rotation connection with the main shaft; a chuck is provided on the main shaft, correspondingly to a position between the backward gear and the forward gear, the chuck and the main shaft are in 1 2016101641 16 Sep 2016 relative and axial sliding connection and fixed oppositely in the circumferential direction; one end of the chuck is provided with backward grippers, and the other end thereof is provided with forward grippers; an end face of the backward gear is provided with backward gripper holes corresponding to the backward grippers, and an end face of the forward gear is provided with forward gripper holes corresponding to the forward grippers; the chuck is connected to a shift lever which extends to outside of the transmission housing and is fixed with a connecting rod; a shift motor, an output shaft of which has a shift gear mounted thereon, is provided outside the transmission housing; and a rack structure, which is collaborated with the shift gear, is provided on the connecting rod, and the shift gear is rotated to drive the connecting rod to do linear movement in the axial direction.
Preferably, the shift gear and the output shaft are fixed through a pin. The shift gear and the output shaft are fixed through the pin, thus the shift gear will not drop from the output shaft and may be replaced.
Preferably, the chuck consists of a first chuck corresponding to the forward gear and a second chuck corresponding to the backward gear, the forward grippers are arranged on the first chuck, and the backward grippers is arranged on the second chuck. Instead of customizing a special chuck having two grippers mounted on its front and back sides, two chucks are used, thus reducing the cost and being convenient for maintenance.
Preferably, the backward gripper holes on the backward gear and the forward gripper holes on the forward gear are all arc-shaped holes coaxial with the backward gear and the forward gear.
Preferably, a motor mounting bracket, configured to fix the shift motor, is provided on the shift motor. The motor mounting bracket can facilitate fixing the shift motor.
The present invention has the characteristics of low cost and convenient maintenance, and may control the forward and backward gears of the electric tricycle more conveniently. 2 2016101641 16 Sep 2016

Detailed Description of the Invention
The present invention will be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, an automatic shifting mechanism of an electric tricycle includes a transmission housing 1; a main shaft 2, having an input gear 3, a backward gear 4 and a forward gear 5 mounted thereon, is provided inside the transmission housing 1. The input gear is connected to a drive motor located outside the transmission housing, the input gear 3 and the main shaft 2 are in synchronous rotation connection, and the backward gear 4 and the forward gear 5 are in relative rotation connection with the main shaft 2. A first chuck 6 and a second chuck 14 are provided on the main shaft 2, correspondingly to a position between the backward gear 4 and the forward gear 5, the first chuck 6 and the second chuck 14 and the main shaft 2 are in relative and axial sliding connection and fixed oppositely in the circumferential direction. One surface of the first chuck 6 opposite to the backward gear 4 is provided with backward grippers 7, one surface of the second chuck 14 opposite to the forward gear 5 is provided with forward grippers 8, and there are four backward grippers and forward grippers respectively. An end face of the backward gear is provided with backward gripper holes corresponding to the backward grippers, an end face of the forward gear is provided with forward gripper holes corresponding to the forward grippers, and the backward gripper holes and the forward gripper holes are all arc-shaped holes. The first chuck 6 and the second chuck 14 are connected to a shift lever 9, and one end of the shift lever 9 extending to outside of the transmission housing 1 is 3 2016101641 16 Sep 2016 provided with a snap ring 15 which is sleeved on a connecting rod 10 and fixed through a fastening pin; and one end of the shift lever 9 extending to outside of the transmission housing 1 is provided with pin holes which are opposite to the snap ring 15 and the connecting rod 10 and fixed again through a pin. A shift motor 11 is provided outside the transmission housing 1, a base, and a side face, near to the transmission housing, of the shift motor 11 have a motor mounting bracket 16 mounted thereon, and an output shaft 13 thereof has a shift gear 12 mounted thereon. The shift gear and the output shaft are fixed through the pin, and a spur rack structure, which is collaborated with the shift gear 12, is provided on the connecting rod 10. 4
