Description

WO 2014/044797 PCT/EP2013/069574 Arrangement of a crusher tooth on a crushing roll of a roll crusher Description 5 The present invention relates to an arrangement of a crusher tooth on a crushing roll of a roll crusher, wherein a tooth receptacle having an opening into which the crusher tooth is introducible and retainable is 10 arranged on the crushing roll. Furthermore, the invention is directed at a method for arranging a crusher tooth on a crushing roll of a roll crusher. Roll crushers serve to break up or comminute material 15 to be crushed or other materials and, depending on their configuration, can also be referred to as sizers. The basic structure of a roll crusher has at least two crushing rolls that rotate in opposite directions, and between the crushing rolls there is formed a crushing 20 nip into which the material to be crushed or comminuted or other material is drawn. Arranged on the outer circumference of the crushing rolls are a number of crusher teeth which are retained in tooth receptacles and are thus arranged on the crushing roll. By way of 25 the crusher teeth, the material is directly broken up or gripped and pulled into the nip between the crushing rolls. Depending on the material to be broken up or comminuted, very high forces therefore act, as a result the process, on the crusher teeth, and so the retained 30 arrangement of the crusher teeth in the tooth receptacles on the outer circumference of the crushing rolls has to withstand high mechanical loads. PRIOR ART 35 For example, DE 41 23 967 Al shows the arrangement of crusher teeth on a crushing roll, and arranged on the crushing rolls are tooth carriers in the form of crushing plates which form a respective tooth receptacle having an opening. The crusher tooth has a WO 2014/044797 - 2 - PCT/EP2013/069574 shank in the form of a pin which projects into the opening in the tooth receptacle and is wedged by way of a wedge element in the opening of the tooth receptacle. Such a configuration of the tooth receptacle and of the 5 arrangement of the crusher tooth in the opening of the tooth receptacle requires a complicated production method, and as a result of the type of fastening by means of the wedge element, a mechanical loading direction of the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle 10 has to be taken into consideration. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION It is therefore the object of the present invention to create an arrangement of a crusher tooth on a crushing 15 roll for a roll crusher, which is embodied in a simple manner and which can withstand high mechanical loads. Proceeding from an arrangement of a crusher tooth on a crushing roll of a roll crusher according to the 20 preamble of claim 1, this object is achieved in conjunction with the characterizing features. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims. 25 The invention includes the technical teaching that provision is made of a clamping sleeve in which a shank of the crusher tooth is accommodated with the clamping sleeve being radially braced in the opening. 30 As a result of the use of a clamping sleeve, in order to fasten the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle, provision is made of a further component which has a degree of freedom of movement both with respect to the tooth receptacle and with respect to the crusher tooth. 35 The particular advantage of the use of the clamping sleeve is that the latter can be drawn or pushed into a gap between the shank of the crusher tooth and the opening in the tooth receptacle, while the crusher WO 2014/044797 - 3 - PCT/EP2013/069574 tooth is already seated in a manner resting in the opening of the tooth receptacle. While the clamping sleeve is being pulled or pushed into the, for example radially circumferential, gap between the shank and the 5 opening of the tooth receptacle, the shank can be braced in the opening, wherein the radial bracing of the clamping sleeve in the opening is produced by a cone which the shank of the crusher tooth forms together with the clamping sleeve. The further the 10 clamping sleeve is pulled or pushed into the radial, circumferential gap, the greater the bracing forces between the tooth receptacle and the shank of the crusher tooth become. 15 The crusher tooth can have a tooth head which is formed with a bearing collar for bearing against a bearing rim, surrounding the opening, on the tooth receptacle. Comminution forces during operation of the roll crusher act on the crusher tooth via the tooth head, and since 20 the tooth head bears against the bearing rim of the tooth receptacle by way of the bearing collar, the comminution forces are directly transferred from the tooth head into the tooth receptacle without the actual fastening of the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle 25 being mechanically loaded. The shank, which is located on the underside of the tooth head and projects into the opening of the tooth receptacle, is consequently mechanically loaded only minimally by the comminution forces under normal loading of the crusher tooth via 30 the tooth head. A particular advantage arises from the fact that the bearing collar bears fully against the bearing rim of the tooth receptacle about the longitudinal axis of the crusher tooth, and independently of the loading direction of the tooth 35 head, a force flow always takes place from the tooth head via the bearing collar and the bearing rim directly into the tooth receptacle. The clamping sleeve braces the crusher tooth in such a way in the tooth WO 2014/044797 - 4 - PCT/EP2013/069574 receptacle that the bearing collar of the tooth head is pressed against the bearing rim of the tooth receptacle, and the arrangement of the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle thus has very high mechanical 5 rigidity on account of the large bearing surface between the bearing collar and the bearing rim. According to a further advantageous embodiment, the clamping sleeve can have a conical receptacle in which 10 a likewise conically formed shank of the crusher tooth is seated. In this case, the opening in the tooth receptacle can be formed by a cylindrical bore, wherein the clamping sleeve has a cylindrical outer contour by way of which said clamping sleeve is seated in the 15 opening. The outside diameter of the clamping sleeve can in this case correspond to the diameter of the opening in the tooth receptacle. Within the meaning of the present invention, however, the shank of the crusher tooth can also be embodied in a cylindrical 20 manner, and the clamping sleeve can have a cylindrical receptacle in which the shank of the crusher tooth can be seated. In this case, the clamping sleeve can be embodied in an externally conical manner, and the opening in the tooth receptacle can have a conical 25 opening into which the conical clamping sleeve can be drawn. This results in a functionally identical arrangement of the clamping sleeve between the shank of the crusher tooth and the tooth receptacle on the basis of a clamping receptacle that is likewise conical with 30 regard to the overall arrangement. The cone of the shank and the receptacle in the clamping sleeve can have a cone angle which has a value between for example 0.20 and 100, preferably a value 35 between 10 and 50 and particularly preferably a value of 20. The cone angle can be such that the clamping sleeve holds the shank of the crusher tooth in a self retaining manner in the opening of the tooth WO 2014/044797 - 5 - PCT/EP2013/069574 receptacle. As a result, securing means are not absolutely necessary in order to keep the clamping sleeve in its arrangement between the shank of the crusher tooth and the tooth receptacle. 5 Further advantageously, the clamping sleeve can be embodied in a slotted manner such that relatively large tangential stresses which would counteract the bracing action for bracing the shank of the crusher tooth in 10 the clamping sleeve cannot build up in the clamping sleeve. In this case, the clamping sleeve can have for example one or more slots which extend at least partially through the clamping sleeve in a longitudinal direction of the latter. 15 According to a further configuration of the arrangement according to the invention, provision can be made of a screw-connection element which is screwed in the crusher tooth by way of a screw shank and is seated in 20 a screw receptacle in the clamping sleeve by way of a screw head. As a result of this arrangement of a screw connection element, the clamping sleeve is drawn into the gap between the shank of the crusher tooth and the tooth receptacle, or secured in the drawn-in 25 arrangement. The longitudinal direction of the clamping sleeve can form the rotational axis of the opening in the tooth receptacle, and the longitudinal direction can extend 30 for instance in a manner tangentially spaced apart from the crushing roll. If the crushing roll is set in rotation, the tooth head of the crusher tooth points for instance in the direction of rotation and material which is introduced between two crushing rolls can be 35 collected by the tooth head without the latter being loaded substantially from the side, that is to say transversely to the longitudinal direction. The tooth receptacle can in this case be arranged in a radially WO 2014/044797 - 6 - PCT/EP2013/069574 projecting manner on the crushing roll and in particular be integrally formed thereon or connected thereto in a cohesive manner. Crushing plates, as they are known, which can be screwed onto the outer 5 circumference of the crushing roll and which have the tooth receptacle, are known. However, the tooth receptacle itself can also be connected directly to the body of the crushing roll, for example by way of a welded connection or by way of a screw connection. 10 Further advantageously, the radially circumferential seat of the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle can have a form-fit region at at least one point, said form-fit region adjoining for example the internal 15 region of the bearing rim. By way of the form fit, twisting of the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle can be prevented, and this can be advantageous in particular during operation of the crushing roll. The form fit can be achieved by way of a securing flank, a 20 multiple toothing or for example by way of a square or polygon which forms the receiving opening of the tooth receptacle in the form-fit region shown. The invention is furthermore directed at a method for 25 arranging a crusher tooth on a crushing roll of a roll crusher, wherein a tooth receptacle having an opening into which the crusher tooth is introduced is arranged on the crushing roll, wherein provision is made of a clamping sleeve into which a shank of the crusher tooth 30 is drawn with the clamping sleeve being radially braced in the opening. In order to draw the clamping sleeve into the radial, circumferential gap, provision can be made of a clamping device by way of which the preferably conical shank of the crusher tooth is drawn 35 into the clamping sleeve with a bracing force being applied. Since the tooth head bears with its bearing collar against the bearing rim of the tooth receptacle even before the clamping sleeve is drawn in, the WO 2014/044797 - 7 - PCT/EP2013/069574 position of the crusher tooth in the tooth receptacle no longer changes and the clamping sleeve can be drawn into the gap between the shank and the opening in the tooth receptacle by way of a movement counter to the 5 tooth receptacle and counter to the crusher tooth. In this case, the opening in the tooth receptacle can be formed in a continuous manner, and the crusher tooth can be introduced into the opening from the first opening side and the clamping sleeve can be introduced 10 into the opening from the opposite, second opening side. In the simplest case, the clamping device can already be formed by the screw-connection element between the 15 clamping sleeve and the shank of the crusher tooth, but preferably, the clamping device can be embodied in a hydraulic, mechanical or some other manner, and once the conical shank has been drawn into the clamping sleeve, the clamping device can be removed and the 20 screw-connection element, by way of which the braced arrangement of the conical shank in the clamping sleeve is secured, can be inserted. Finally, the opening side through which the clamping sleeve and the screw connection element have been introduced can also be 25 closed by a cover element. PREFERRED EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Further measures that improve the invention are explained in more detail in the following text together 30 with the description of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the invention with reference to the figures, in which: Figure 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of an 35 arrangement of a crusher tooth on a crushing roll with a clamping device, and WO 2014/044797 - 8 - PCT/EP2013/069574 Figure 2 shows the arrangement of the crusher tooth on the crushing roll with securing by way of a screw-connection element. 5 Figure 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of an arrangement of a crusher tooth 10 on a crushing roll 1 of a roll crusher, wherein only a part of the crushing roll 1 is shown. A tooth receptacle 11 is arranged on the outer circumference of the crushing roll 1, and 10 welds 28 are shown by way of example between the tooth receptacle 11 and the surface of the crushing roll 1 in order to fasten the tooth receptacle 11 to the roll 1. Introduced into the tooth receptacle 11 is an opening 15 12 which is formed for example in a cylindrical manner and extends in the form of a through-opening through the tooth receptacle 11 in the longitudinal direction 20 shown. A crusher tooth 10 has been introduced into the opening 12 of the tooth receptacle 11 from the 20 direction of a front side of the tooth receptacle 11, which is located at the front in the direction of rotation as per the shown rotation arrow of the crushing roll 1. A clamping sleeve 13 has been introduced into the opening 12 of the tooth receptacle 25 11 from the direction of an opposite rear side. The crusher tooth 10 has a conically formed shank 14 which extends from the underside of the tooth head 15, wherein the tooth head 15 points in the direction for rotation of the crusher roll 1. 30 The clamping sleeve 13 encloses the conically formed shank 14 of the crusher tooth 10 in that the shank 14 has been introduced into a receptacle 18 of the clamping sleeve 13. The cylindrically formed outer 35 contour 19 of the clamping sleeve 13 sits in this case in the opening 12 of the tooth receptacle 11.
WO 2014/044797 - 9 - PCT/EP2013/069574 The tooth head 15 of the crusher tooth 10 has a bearing collar 16 which bears flat against a bearing rim 17 of the tooth receptacle 11, wherein the bearing rim 17 fully encloses the opening 12 in the tooth receptacle 5 11. If comminution forces act on the tooth head 15, these forces are transferred directly from the tooth head 15 into the tooth receptacle 11 via the bearing collar 16 and the bearing rim 17 without the comminution forces having to be conducted into the 10 tooth receptacle 11 via the shank 14 and the clamping sleeve 13. In order to receive the clamping sleeve 13 in the gap between the shank 14 and the opening 12, a clamping 15 device 25 is shown, said clamping device 25 having as simplest embodiment a spike 26 and sleeve 27 in order to draw the clamping sleeve 13 into the gap. The spike 26 has been screwed into a threaded bore 33 in the shank 14 of the crusher tooth 10 such that a tensile 20 force can be applied to the shank 14 via the spike 26. The sleeve 27 has been screwed into a thread 29 which is located at the sleeve foot 30 of the clamping sleeve 13. Consequently, tensile and compressive forces can be introduced into the shank 14 and into the clamping 25 sleeve 13, respectively, both via the spike 26 and via the sleeve 27. In order to draw the clamping sleeve 13 into the gap between the shank 14 and the opening 12, while the 30 tooth head 15 is already bearing against the bearing rim 17 of the tooth receptacle 11 by way of the bearing collar 16, a tensile force is exerted on the spike 26 and a compressive force is exerted on the sleeve 27, wherein the respective forces correspond to the bracing 35 force F. The bracing force F can be applied for example by a hydraulic or mechanical device which is not shown in more detail. The clamping sleeve 13 can in this case be pushed into the gap until the required bracing force WO 2014/044797 - 10 - PCT/EP2013/069574 F has been achieved. A residual gap 31 between a shoulder 32 in the opening 12 and the sleeve foot 30 of the clamping sleeve 13 ensures that the clamping sleeve 13 does not come into abutment against the shoulder 32 5 before the bracing force F has been achieved. The shoulder 32 forms a geometric form fit such that the crusher tooth 10 cannot be released from the opening 12 in the direction of rotation of the crushing roll 1. 10 In order to avoid the buildup of tangential stresses in the clamping sleeve 13, the latter has a slotted embodiment, wherein a longitudinal slot in the clamping sleeve 13 is located in the lower side of the section plane such that, as a result of the slotted embodiment, 15 the lower half of the clamping sleeve 13 is formed by the side face of the slot and so the hatching is omitted. The described clamping device 25 can furthermore be 20 used to remove the crusher tooth 10 from the receptacle 11 again and in particular from the seat of the clamping sleeve 13. The bracing forces F shown in figure 1 merely have to be reversed, such that a tensile force is introduced via the sleeve 27 and a 25 compressive force is introduced via the spike 26 into the clamping sleeve 13 and into the shank 14 of the crusher tooth 10, respectively, in order to remove the clamping sleeve 13 from its shown seat again. 30 As an alternative to the shown clamping device 25, the clamping sleeve 13 can also be pushed into the gap between the shank 14 and the opening 12, for example by a tool that engages equally around the crusher tooth 10 and the clamping sleeve 13. In this case, the pulling 35 and pushing is understood as taking place in a relative manner between the crusher tooth 10 and the clamping sleeve 13.
WO 2014/044797 - 11 - PCT/EP2013/069574 Figure 2 shows the arrangement of the crusher tooth 10 in the tooth receptacle 11 on the crushing roll 1 in a braced arrangement, wherein a screw-connection element 21 is inserted in a screw receptacle 24 in the sleeve 5 foot 30 of the clamping sleeve 13. The screw-connection element 21 has a screw head 23 which is seated in the screw receptacle 24, which at the same time serves for the use of the thread 29 for the arrangement of the sleeve 27, and the screw-connection element 21 10 furthermore has a screw shank 22 which is screwed in the threaded bore 33 in the shank 14 of the crusher tooth 10. As a result, the screw-connection element 21 braces the clamping sleeve 13 with the crusher tooth 10, such that the bracing force F which has been 15 applied by the clamping device 25 is secured and is maintained. The arrangement of the screw-connection element 21 in the screw receptacle 24 can furthermore be secured by a securing element 34 which is located under the screw head 23 in abutment against the sleeve 20 foot 30 and can be configured for example in the form of a Nord-Lock securing element. The radially circumferential seat of the crusher tooth 10 in the tooth receptacle 11 can have a form-fit 25 region 35 at the point shown, said form-fit region 35 adjoining the internal region of the bearing rim 17. By way of the form fit, twisting of the crusher tooth 10 in the tooth receptacle 11 can be prevented, and this can be advantageous in particular during operation of 30 the crushing roll 1. The form fit can be achieved by way of a securing flank, a multiple toothing or for example by way of a square or polygon which forms the receiving opening of the tooth receptacle 11 in the form-fit region 35 shown. 35 The embodiment of the invention is not limited to the merely preferred exemplary embodiment that is given above. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable WO 2014/044797 - 12 - PCT/EP2013/069574 which make use of the illustrated solution even in fundamentally different embodiments. All of the features and/or advantages which are apparent from the claims, the description or the drawings, including 5 structural details or spatial arrangements, can be essential to the invention both on their own and in a large variety of combinations. In particular, the conical seat of the clamping sleeve 13 does not necessarily have to be formed between the clamping 10 sleeve 13 and the shank 14, because the shank 14 can also be embodied in a cylindrical manner, and so the receptacle 18 in the clamping sleeve 13 is also embodied in a cylindrical manner. In this case, however, the outer contour 19 of the clamping sleeve 13 15 can be embodied in a conical manner, wherein the conical outer side of the clamping sleeve 13 can correspond to a correspondingly conical opening 12 in the tooth receptacle 11.
