Description

Z AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION N STANDARD PATENT C1 APRON WITH TOWEL AND OPTIONAL DRINK COOLER The invention is described in the following statement Apron with towel and optional drink cooler This invention relates to combining an apron with a towel and also provision for attaching a drink cooler (stubby holder) if desired.
When cooking or preparing food, it is best to wear an apron to protect clothing.
Whilst preparing food, the cook often has to wipe their hands. By attaching a towel to an apron this serves both purposes. The towel can be permanently fixed to the apron or removable.
The towel and apron could be made of cotton, but any similar material, that is not highly inflammable, would be suitable.
In the first form of this invention, the towel is sewn to the apron, as shown in figure 1.
In the second form of this invention, as indicated in figure 2, a fabric, or similar loop is attached to the front of the apron allowing the wearer to put a towel over same to hang down in front of the wearer. The towel can then be discarded, or replaced, at the users leisure, as the towel gets dirty.
When barbequing or similar style of cooking the cook may hold a drink whilst cooking. In another form of the invention, the apron has provision for attaching a drink cooler (stubby holder) to the apron. It can then be marketed with drink cooler attached. Position for the drink container (stubby holder) may vary as indicated in figure 2. The attachment of the drink cooler (stubby holder) can consist of a plastic ring (or similar material) attached to the apron as shown in figure 3. Provision is t made for the drink cooler (stubby holder) to be attached/detached from the apron. A O pocket is incorporated in the front of the apron to hold the drink cooler and drink if desired. This pocket is indicated in figures 1 and 2.
