  • The waterproof bib 1 for an infant dining table according to the present invention may be placed under the chin of an infant to bring the infant and an infant dining table (‘table’) together, so as to prevent saliva or food dribbled by the infant who eats while sitting at the table T from spilling between the table and the infant and further from staining clothes of the infant, wherein the infant dining table T may be a high-chair type table including a chair C, a top plate P and legs R as shown in FIG. 2 a, or otherwise, a low-chair type table shown in FIG. 2 b, wherein a baby or an infant may eat while being seated on the floor.
  • First, referring to FIGS. 3a to 3 b, the waterproof bib 1 for an infant dining table (abbrev. to ‘waterproof bib’) according to a first embodiment of the present invention may be fabricated using a waterproof fabric or a waterproof cloth composed of a general fabric and a water-resistant coating applied thereto, thus not becoming dirty since foreign matter is little absorbed thereby, and being easily cleaned to facilitate cleaning. This bib includes a chin rest part 100 and a table cover part 400.
  • The chin rest part 100 is a portion placed under the chin to cover a front side of the upper body of an infant when wearing the bib, and may contact saliva and/or food dribbled by the infant.
  • In the upper center portion of the chin rest part 100, a neckline groove 110 cut to the lower side is formed to surround the neck of the infant while exposing the shoulders and arms. Further, a fastening string 130 is connected thereto. Accordingly, when an infant wears the bib, the bib may be suitably fastened to match a neck size of the infant. Further, the infant can freely move even while wearing the bib, whereby the bib is comfortable to use.
  • The table cover part 400 is approximately rectangular and integrally connected to the lower portion of the chin rest part 100.
