The invention relates to a continuously variable transmission for torque and rotational speed, comprising a radially adjustable guide device, for instance, an elongated disk or a slide rail arrangement, which is mounted and guided in the lever. Said transmission can be used in passenger vehicles, utility vehicles, ships, trains, machine construction, power generating machines and machine tools.
