Abstract
The invention relates to a device for guiding and evacuating used air, e.g. combustion gases such as flue gases or the like, produced by a combustion device installed in a building for heating purposes, especially a fireplace for the combustion of fossil fuels, comprising a line for guiding used air arising during combustion and an outer shell surrounding said line. A heat insulation device embodied as a mineral wool form element is arranged between the line and the outer shell. The inner surface thereof is embodied such that it corresponds to the outer wall of the line. In order to further develop such a device in order to provide a device which is easy to install, which can be installed at an especially low cost and which can be retrofitted, the line is guided via at least one ceiling, the outer wall is embodied such that it is uninterrupted in the region of said ceiling and an insulating element is disposed between the line and the ceiling, filling and sealing the gap between the line and the ceiling.
