Abstract

The device comprises a cylindrical flask (1) closed at the bottom (11) and provided with a leakproof removable lid (2). The lid (2) is pierced in its centre to provide a leakproof passage for the shaft (31) of a beater (3), the head of the shaft (31) emerging to allow it to be driven in rotation. The lid (2) also has at least one connector (4) for attaching a connecting pipe between the flask (1) and a shoe to be treated. The shaft (31) of the beater (3) carries radial fins inclined to force the mixture towards the bottom (11), the latter rising along the wall of the flask (1). This wall advantageously has lengthwise projections (12) to increase the turbulence motions. The device permits a homogeneous mixing of the reactants to endow the stuffing with mechanical qualities which are uniform from one point to another. <IMAGE>
