Description

The present invention relates to the making of a flexible anatomical padding between the shell of a shoe and the wearer's foot, this padding being made shoe by foot, therefore personalized. This type of padding is sought in particular for shoes with rigid shell, very technical, in particular for the practice of skiing.

According to the patent application published without examination DE 2,114,750, it is known for the production of such padding to introduce between the wearer's foot and the shell of the shoe, a liquid mixture of products reacting with one another to solidify in place by fairly rapid polymerization. Isocyanates and polyesters are usually used, leading to a polyurethane foam. After mixing, the product is introduced by gravity and by the pressure of the gases generated by means of a tube into the space separating the shell of the shoe from the foot of the wearer.

In patent FR 2 111 147, fundamentally the same principles are used, but to avoid certain inconveniences, in particular soiling, the previously mixed polymerizable product is injected into an envelope, therefore with a double wall known as a "small shoe" covering the foot of the shoe. wearer and forming after polymerization a real slipper suitable for both the shell of the shoe and the foot of the wearer.

These techniques mentioned, however, have serious shortcomings with regard to the actual preparation of the polymerizable mixture. We simply, in a bottle containing the first liquid product, pour the second also liquid, and manually shake the first bottle to mix the products before connecting the bottle to an injection tube for the delivery of material towards the free spaces or the envelope separating the foot of the wearer from the shell of the shoe.

Due to this purely manual nature of the preparation of the liquid polymerizable mixture, it lacks sufficient homogeneity and the polymerization reaction will occur relatively randomly depending on the locations of the padding being formed, depending on the respective proportions of the constituents. in these sites, and the mechanical qualities expected from the padding will vary from one point to another and may at certain points not correspond at all to the technical result which was expected.

These deficiencies and inadequacies, according to the very rapid evolution, in the field of competition in particular, are no longer compatible with the requirements of users who want a high-performance, reliable product that does not present random local variations in mechanical qualities, while not prohibitively increasing them the cost price already relatively high.

The present invention therefore aims to overcome the above drawbacks to give reasonable satisfaction to users. It relates to a mixing bottle of reaction products which must ensure homogeneity such that the mechanical qualities, in particular the proven comfort of the padding, is not subject to undesirable local variations.

The characteristics of the mixing bottle according to the invention and its advantages over the known state of the art will become apparent in the light of the following description and for the understanding of which reference will be made to the drawings, in which:
  • FIG. 1 shows in axial section a mixing bottle in accordance with the present invention,
  • FIG. 2 represents the outer envelope of the mixing bottle of FIG. 1, cover removed,
  • Figure 3 is a top view in an intermediate plane, such as AA of the mixing bottle of Figure 1 and illustrating its operation.

As illustrated in FIG. 1, the mixing bottle which can, from the outset, already contain the basic liquid product, is in the general form of a straight circular cyclinder constituted by a lateral surface 1 closed at the lower end by a bottom 11 come in one piece with the surface 1 and also closed at the top by a removable waterproof cover 2, attached, preferably by screwing to ensure this seal better than by elastic interlocking for example. The cover 2 is pierced centrally to allow the passage of the axis 31 of a mixer 3 and laterally, has at least one nozzle 4 for the connection of a tube for the flow of the mixed product to its subsequent polymerization zones . Preferably, two nozzles 4, advantageously diametrically opposite, will be provided to allow the simultaneous injection, and not in turn, of the same mixture, and under the same momentary conditions of site, pressure, temperature, for the realization of the padding in right and left shoes, which is a significant advantage of the present invention.

The axis 31 of the thresher 3 is provided above its sealed crossing of the cover 2 with a head 32 for rotating drive intended to cooperate with a portable power tool, for example of the drill type. Advantageously, this head 32 is in the form of a screw head because the rotary drive tool most frequently used by fitters in the workshops of sports shops is precisely the electric screwdriver. However, this head 32 could as well have a square shape, or round to be clamped in a mandrel.

The axis 31 of the mixer 3 axially crosses the interior of the mixing bottle to the bottom 11 above which it pivots in a holding plate 33 which it retains. This holding plate 33, the configuration of which is related to the inner wall of the bottle 1, with which it has a certain clearance guarantees the maintenance, in operation, of the axis 31 of the mixer 3 in the centered position in the bottle 1. Indeed, in the absence of such a maintenance, the axis 31 in rotation would tend to float or flex and its fins which we will talk about more bin could rub or strike the inner wall of the bottle 1 and spin the beater 3.

Cette dernière est ainsi retenue à l'axe 31 et, s'appuyant vers le bas sur la collerette de ce demier, reste tenue éloignée du fond du flacon 1.As shown in Figure 1, the axis 31 passes freely through a hole in the holding plate 33 and has, at its end located at a distance from the bottom 11 of the bottle 1, a retaining flange for said plate 33. The latter is thus retained at the axis 31 and, pressing down on the collar of the latter, remains kept away from the bottom of the bottle 1.

The axis 31 is also carrying on two diametrically opposite sides of radial fins 34 disposed on several stages. These fins 34 of substantially planar and rectangular shape are inclined relative to the direction of the axis 31 so that, in rotation of the mixer 3, they force the fluid contained in the mixing bottle 1 towards the bottom 11 while l 'inducing in rotation around the axis 31. The fluid in the central part will therefore be driven towards the bottom in an approximately helical movement to then rise along the wall of the mixing bottle 1. The fins 34 on one side appear therefore of inclination reversed with respect to those on the other side but are however exactly in the same position after rotation of a half-turn of the axis 31 due to the symmetry of revolution of order two.

To increase the efficiency of the beater 3 in producing a perfectly homogeneous mixture, it is also sought to cause turbulence or swirls along the wall of the bottle 1. For this purpose, this wall is provided with at least two longitudinal deflecting projections 12 extending over all or part of the height of the bottle and leaving sufficient clearance for the passage of the fins 34. These deflecting projections 12 slow down the rotating current of the fluid on the wall of the bottle 1, which ensures better brewing. For optimal efficiency, the deflecting projections 12, in the form of a tooth with a triangular section, advantageously have a lower slope on the upstream side, therefore in opposition to the direction of rotation of the fins 34 of the tangential flow of the fluid, than on the downstream side. . FIG. 3 shows an illustration of the currents in the mixture in projection from the plane normal to the axis of the mixer 3.
These deflecting projections 12 can easily come from a single piece with the surface 1 and the bottom 11 of the bottle in their production by blowing, as is moreover clearly shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.

It is obviously possible to provide a greater number of deflecting projections, but the configuration of the retaining plate 33 would be complicated to allow its easy introduction into the bottle 1 and furthermore, two projections 12 seem sufficient to achieve an excellent result as regards relates to the homogeneity of the polymerizable mixture.

The mixing bottle described above can, as already said, serve as a packaging for the basic liquid constituent of the mixture, the beater 3 being also contained therein or attached thereto before proceeding to the mixing operation.

For the production of expanded foam padding, the procedure is as explained below.

A connection pipe is placed on the shoe and preferably communicates with the inside of a textile envelope which is impermeable to the polymerizable and gas permeable product, which will facilitate the elimination of these without the need for additional opening for the evacuation. As already said, with two nozzles 4 on the cover 2 of the mixing bottle 1, we will be able to operate under the same conditions on the two shoes simultaneously.

The second product, then contained in a separate bottle, is then poured into the mixing bottle 1 already containing the first product and the cover 2 carrying the mixer 3 is closed. The connection pipe or pipes are connected to the nozzles 4 The mixing bottle 1 remaining in a substantially vertical position, mixing is carried out by rotating the beater 3, for example by means of a power tool of the drill type, until a perfectly homogeneous mixture is obtained. The time required for mixing obviously depends on the material of the components in order to obtain by expansion a foam of regular quality for good comfort and a correct subsequent holding of the wearer's foot. The control of this mixing time, neither too short nor too long, is acquired very quickly since there is no longer any manual intervention for the preparation of the mixture.

After a relatively short necessary reaction time, the mixing bottle 1 is brought to the high position relative to the injection points and is tilted enough to cause the flow of the mixture by gravity and by the natural gas pressure which is created in the mixing bottle 1, in the connection tubes to fill the space to be stuffed.

After expansion of the foam and polymerization, the connection tubes are torn from the shoe and are discarded with the mixing bottle 1.

As we can see, we can inject simultaneously in the two shoes and not in one, then in the other. The number of containers for the liquid products to be mixed therefore does not have to be doubled, as is the number of manipulations, as is the case according to the usual techniques. The price that comes back from the final result is therefore much lower than that which this state of the art allows.

In the case where the mixing bottle 1 is the actual packaging of the basic liquid product, as mentioned at the beginning of the description, it is clear that it is then closed by a preferably traditional cover. To carry out the injection of the padding, it is then optimal to first connect the connection pipe or pipes to the cover 2 carrying the beater 3. The traditional cover of the bottle 1 is then removed and the second liquid product is poured in this bottle 1, the bottle 1 is then closed by screwing it onto the cover 2 carrying the mixer 3, and then the operation is carried out as already said. Because of the speed of the reaction, it is in fact preferable to connect the nozzles 4 before closing the cover 2.
