Abstract
The switch which is provided for an electrical load has a housing having switch contacts. Supported in a switching space in the housing is a disc-shaped bimetallic element on an armature, which can be displaced axially for the contact switching. A temperature changing part, which can be driven electrically and whose connecting parts are passed out of the housing, is provided for the bimetallic device. The axially displaceable armature has three radial webs, which project transversely in the form of a star and to which, for three-pole contact switching, in each case two switching contacts and one contact link (associated therewith) are allocated on the baseplate of the housing. On the side of the bimetallic device opposite the radial webs of the armature, a thermally conductive disc is provided, on which the temperature changing part is arranged.
