Abstract
The switch has electrical connections (11,14) that connect with a power circuit. Internally there is a fixed contact (29) that is engaged by a movable contact (28) that is on the tip of a bimetallic leaf spring (22). This is fixed at one end to a cantilever spring (21). At a specific temperature the bimetallic element responds to open the contacts.
