Abstract

The invention relates to an aiming carriage for steeply angled firearms, especially grenade launchers, the weapon tube of which rests on the one hand with its bottom piece on a bridge and on the other hand with at least one standing leg on an annular aiming rail and is pivotable about a bridge centre point. The aim here is to ensure that all the operating members are arranged in the vicinity of the elevation and azimuth aiming mechanism, fine adjustment is possible and locking in any position is provided. This is achieved in that the driving axle of the adjustment mechanism is axially displaceable and, by means of a pressure cone arranged on the gear wheel, is freely movable in one position of the axial displacement and bears against the leg of the aiming rail in another position, whilst the leg of the aiming rail can at the same time be clamped by means of the pressure cone and sliding shoe. <IMAGE>
