Abstract
1. A process for controlling the ventilation of an object to be dried in a drying tunnel, in particular for brick blanks arranged in layers, which is moved through the drier in opposite direction of the air current, in which process heated air is introduced under excess pressure in the tunnel in the area of the outlet of the tunnel, in which the air from the tunnel section above the layers is deflected downwards to the layers in several areas in longitudinal direction of the tunnel by means of air deflecting means and is removed from the tunnel in the area of the inlet, characterized in that the laminar air current caused by the pressure difference is moved through the object to be dried by means of air deflecting means which can be moved to and fro in longitudinal direction during drying.
