Abstract

1. A device mounted on a web-fed printing press, for folding and cutting part circumference length copies, with web rolling units fitted to a folder, which include slitting and turning devices for the printed web, with former fold stations of the plough type (I, II, III, IV), with a cutting unit (11, 13) for cutting the printed web at right angles to the web edge and with a conveyor belt system having a reduced speed which leads to a delivery point and produces formation of imbrication, characterized by the arrangement of the former fold stations (I, II, III, IV) in the superstructure of the folder, by an initial cutting unit (18, 19) for cross cutting the former folded printed web (D) into one or several web cuttings (P) as well as by leading the imbricated web cuttings (P) into a corner conveyor (20) whereupon the web cuttings, turned through 90 degrees, can be lead to a second cutting unit, which consists of a rotary slitter (23) whose lateral circular cutter (24, 24') is adjustable for the purpose setting the spacing when cutting part circumference length copies (N).
