Abstract
The invention relates to a method and arrangement for determining distances between points along a track, which are intended for the positioning of rail devices, in particular reference beacons on a beacon group. A distance measurement which is simple and can be handled flexibly in time is characterized in that reference marks are arranged adjacent to the rail points, are identified by means of a reading device travelling on the rail, and their distance is determined on the basis of the distance travelled between two reference marks.
