Abstract

1. A work-locating device for the clamping of workpieces on work tables or the work tables of machining devices or installations, having : a clamping bolt (2) which can be inserted in a slot or a T-groove in the work table and bears at one end a head (3) whose cross-section exceeds the clear width of the slot or T-groove at least in the direction of one dimension ; a clamping jaw (15) which is disposed on the clamping bolt and which can be moved longitudinally at least to a limited extent along an axis at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the clamping bolt (2) and bears for the workpiece a clamping surface parallel with the clamping bolt ; a first eccentric (22) which is rotatably mounted on the clamping bolt (2) and which can be rotated by means of a handle (35) and whose generatrix extends parallel with the longitudinal axis of the clamping bolt and whose external peripheral surface can be moved into engagement with a contact pressure surface parallel with the clamping surface ; and a clamping device (2, 4, 6, 25, 33, 41) actuable by the handle (35) to clamp the clamping bolt (2) in the slot or T-groove, characterized in that the handle (35) is mounted to pivot around a transverse spindle (34) at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the clamping bolt (2), and the clamping device (2, 4, 6, 25, 33, 41) is drivably coupled in its opening or closure direction to the handle (35) in relation to a pivoting movement around its transverse spindle (34).
