Abstract

A supply of beer drawn from a cask is delivered through a tap with a flow passage (4) in which the flow is regulated by a lever (7) operated valve (6). The lever moves on a bearing which also functions as an air bleed slide valve (16, 17a, 19, 20). The air bleed valve only opens when the main tap valve (6) is closed.
