Abstract

The door catch and lock, for the door of a cold room or store, consists of a striking plate (10) which is fixed to the door frame, and a catch (40) and handle (50) assembly. The assembly is enclosed in a housing (24) attached to a counter-plate (21) on the door, with the handle in the form of a rectangular bar on a transverse pivot (54) which interacts with the lock through a three-arm lever (6) and an arm (64). The catch and lock are also equipped with a mechanism to enable the door to be opened from the inside of the cold room/store.
