Abstract

1. Electromagnetically operable fuel injection valve for internal-combustion engines, having a magnet winding, a magnet core and a flat armature (12), which with the magnet core forms a magnetic circuit, an annular valve seat (2), a valve element (6), which is connected to the flat armature (12), provides a three-dimensional seal and is pressed by a spring (7), whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of the valve seat (2), in the dead state of the magnet winding (9) with sealing effect against the valve seat (2) and thereby penetrates the plane defined by the valve seat (2), characterized in that the spring (7) acts on a plane of the valve element (6) whose distance from the flat armature (12) is greater than the distance of the plane defined by the valve seat (2) from the flat armature (12).
