Abstract
Continuous strand furnace comprises a conveyor belt arrangement arranged in a high temperature zone (21) of a heating chamber (2) in the conveying direction (3) to simultaneously move with the conveyor belt (1). The conveyor belt arrangement has a set of first moving support elements which move in and against the conveying direction of the conveyor belt. An independent claim is also included for a process for operating a continuous strand furnace.
