Abstract
The invention relates to a method for controlling a door system (3) by means of a self-configuring door control unit (1). Said door system (3) moves by means of an electrical drive device (2) and may not exceed prescribed maximum speeds, wherefore the mass of the door system (3) is automatically determined for the configuration of the door control unit (1), in that the door system (3) is accelerated in a regulated manner during a controlled opening course and optionally during a subsequent closing course, and is then stopped, and the motor voltage of the drive device (2) is pre-determined by means of pulse width modulation for the mass determination.
