Abstract
The volume flow regulator (1), particularly for air-conditioning installation, involves a throttle component (5) in a channel and pivotable around an axis (4) running crossways to the flow direction (a) of a gas. The throttle component, under the effect of the forwardly flowing gas, is pivoted out of the opening position into the closed position. It is pivoted back again into the opening position under the effect of reducing volume flow. The throttle component is formed by a cylinder cover-shaped vane formed on at least one rotary leg (3), the length of which corresponds approximately to that of the leg. On the rotary leg at least one surface component (8) is provided. The axis of the rotary leg is arranged at a short distance from a wall (2) of the channel.
