Abstract
The invention relates to a suction dredge provided according to the thin stream delivery principle. The inventive suction dredge comprises a radial extractor fan (1) which serves to generate the required suction air stream, comprises a pneumatic suction hose (2) with an integrated suction crown for accommodating the suction material (11), is provided with a collection container (3) for intermediately storing the suction material (11), and has a filter unit which is arranged between the collection container and the extractor fan. In order to keep the load placed on the filter at a minimum, separating chambers (4) are installed between the collection container (3) and the fine filter (7). All essential components are separated from the air stream by virtue of the special geometric shape of these separating chambers (4). The air deflecting positions (14) are located near the middle of the separating chambers (4). An additional increase in energy of the particles in the air stream increases the precipitation rate again immediately in front of the air deflecting position (14). The fine filter (7) can be flown through not only in a vertical manner, but also horizontally. This results in substantially lower rising speeds which vastly improves the dedusting behavior. All particles separated from the air stream are completely disposed of during a dumping process.
