Abstract
The point switch mechanism is designed such that it can be easily and reliably set in situ at different adjusting strokes. To this end, each drive comprises two locking slide plates (17, 18) which are movable transversely to the adjusting slide plate or plates (14) and to the monitoring slide plates (33, 34) and are to be arranged as necessary at different spacings from each another. To this end, spacer elements (29 to 32) are used, via which the locking slide plates are to be guided as necessary in terms of distance. When the adjusting stroke is at its maximum, the two locking slide plates are directly adjacent each other. They are guided between guides (27, 28) which are at a given spacing from each other; the space between the guides is filled by the flat spacer elements. The locking slide plates are also guided in the same way when individual, or a plurality of, spacer elements separate the two locking slide plates from each other spatially. The monitoring slide plates can be mounted as necessary on one or other side of the adjusting slide plate or plates (14) such that the drive can be fitted at the front on the near side or far side of a track. Extension elements (47) controlled by the locking slide plates (17, 18) ensure that the monitoring slide plates are locked when they are to be arranged on the other side of the adjusting slide or slide plates (14).
