Abstract
The line bundle mfg. system has a number of partial bundles (BD1...BD5) supplied by respective twisting devices (VS1,..VS5), with continuous evaluation of the position of each twisting position, to prevent the twisting positions of adjacent partial bundles from coinciding with one another. The expected location of the next twisting position for each partial bundle is calculated from the detected location of the preceding twisting position, with a setting element (SG2) operated when a possible coincidence is detected, to displace the location of one of these twisting positions.
