Abstract

Containers, for example platforms or crate containers, can be provided with support feet (10) for setting-down or exchange between mobile chassis. Such support feet (10) are pivotable and, as long as the container is mounted on a transporting means, the support feet (10) are secured horizontally below the container. When the container has been set down, the support feet (10) are placed vertically and support the container. One support foot (10) is made up of a support leg (11) and a bearing tube (12) arranged transversely thereto and a securing strut. To reduce weight and achieve a simple construction, the support foot (10) is made up of a support leg (11) and a bearing tube (12) of an extruded aluminium profile (16, 17) and a cast corner piece (13).
