Abstract

The Florentine blind with articulated arms according to the invention takes into account the mechanical loading which increases with an increasing blind width and extension length. Whilst retaining proven arrangements as a roll-up safeguard, the articulated parts have an angular position relative to one another which can easily be set by a mechanic. A threaded bolt (27) is proposed which has two threaded portions (28, 29) running in opposite directions which are provided, on the one hand, in the holding arm (12) and, on the other hand, in a part of a stop dish (6) mounted in an articulated manner relative thereto. The threaded bolt (27) passes through a tilting joint (22) which can be pivoted between said two parts, such that the forces to be absorbed have only a very small spacing from the pivot axis (13, 10). This considerably reduces the torque to be absorbed. <IMAGE>
