EMI1.1
In the manufacture of the guide wheels, or step chambers and channels in centrifugal air pumps for driving vacuum cleaning devices, there has been a major disadvantage in the fact that the impellers cannot be easily inserted when the guide wheels are firmly connected to the casing. Furthermore, the sealing and insertion of the idlers, provided they were not firmly connected to the housing, was associated with difficulties, so that almost generally only two impellers could be used. As a result, however, the effect of such devices was comparatively small and there was also the further disadvantage that despite the use of only a few running wheels, a rather noisy gait could not be avoided.
All of these disadvantages are avoided by the invention, the advantage of a simple design and manufacture being achieved. According to the invention, the thin-walled guide wheels forming the step chambers or channels can be pushed into one another in pairs and are designed to form a self-contained capsule, which capsules are held and sealed by compressing the divided housing shell. Any number of impellers can be built into the housing if a corresponding number of capsules are arranged.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention, u. Between FIG. 1 shows a vertical longitudinal section and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A of FIG. 1.
Above the middle of the impellers b mounted on the pump shaft a, the guide wheels c are arranged, u. These are designed in such a way that they fit exactly into one another with their outer edges facing one another and thereby form a capsule-like casing for the impeller. The guide wheels are provided with inwardly widening blades and central openings e and are used as closed capsules in a recess of the housing shell consisting of the two parts fund g so that they can be fund g, z. B. by a thread, pressed and sealed at the same time. The air passage is indicated by arrows. The whole thing can not only be easily put together and taken apart, but also produced in a simple way.
It is possible to use not only one capsule, as in the exemplary embodiment, but also several capsules with a larger number of impellers. The application of the invention is not limited to vacuum cleaning devices, but other devices such. B. fans u. Like. In which air or gas is to be moved or sucked in by centrifugal wheels, can be designed with the same advantage according to the invention.
